Absolutely fantastic food and service. Been dying to go to a good French place ever since Cafe Pyreness closed. They were also accommodating to my mom's dietary restrictions. On top of all that, it is one of the most charming places in Highwood. The ambiance is perfect for the venue. 10/10 recommend!
We were going out for our 27th Anniversary. We were originally sat in the bar which is lovely and a cafe setting but we were moved to the dining room upon my husband's request where it was a little more intimate. We were seated in a lovely booth. The staff was lovely especially our waitress and we also loved the sommelier who brought an incredible and reasonably priced French wine. We enjoyed the cold artichoke with Ratatouille, a lovely dinner salad, Dover sole and pasta with vegetables. The Carmel sauce with the apple tart was outstanding. We had a truly wonderful time with great food and service!

Last night was my 2nd trip to Froggy's. They have so much good food on the menu, that we decided to let the Chef decide on everything! The Meat and Fish Trios were perfectly prepared and the dessert chef's creations were not only light and savory at the same time, but aesthetically presented. A fantastic French Restaurant

My daughter took me here for lunch,when I visited last Fall! The service & food were excellent!! I loved the atmosphere & decorations as I am a Frog Lover & Collector of All Things to do with Frogs.
Patty the bartender was amazing!!!! If I could give her 10 stars I would. Everyone was fantastic, super friendly!!! Will be back on Sat nite if Patty is there!!
I love the owner, wife and the employees - they are friendly,and there is well trained staff! The food, especially the specials, are delicious. The serving size is perfect. If you want a private party Froggy's is accommodating. It's cozy and fun! We always enjoy our time spent at Froggy's! I just wish there was a first floor bathroom for handicapped patrons. You will love your dining experience at this quaint, fun filled restaurant!
Fabulous attentive service, exquisitely prepared courses from salad to desert. Very highly recommended.

I visited Froggy’s with a friend for the first time. What a special place. Service was quick. Our waiter was so helpful with the menu and wine selection. Ordered the artichoke cold plate, a mushroom ravioli for appetizers and filet medallions as the main course. A beautiful well priced bottle of Alexander Valley wine was a great compliment to our meal. Bread pudding dessert was decadent. This is a lovely place to visit in Highwood, especially if you like French cuisine.
A wonderful experience! I had the shrimp linguine with lobster sauce. I have to go back. excellent service.
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Attentive, professional staff. Chef came out to greet and check on the guests. Food and drinks were wonderful. Enjoyed every dish we ordered.

Fast and friendly service are the highlights of my experience at Froggy's. As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by our server and drinks were promptly brought. And the food! It was wonderful, most of our party ordered the fish special and really enjoyed it. I ordered the rack of lamb and it melted in my mouth, it was so tender. They have an open air dining room, and it got a little warm on a summer night, but I wasn't uncomfortable.
Sometimes you just want a super old school French meal, with excellent tuxedoed waiters, and nothing but 60 and 70 year old people surrounding you.
If you’re into butter, unctuously sauces game meats, white Burgundy, and ridiculous somewhat mismatched plates, Froggy’s is the place for you. Will definitely return.
I think it is daring for a vegetarian to go to a French restaurant named Froggy's!!! Everyone got something different. I should have taken a photo of everyone's dish because they were all beautifully presented. Zero leftovers which means good portion size and delicious. Butternut squash soup ... I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo! It was the best squash soup I have had! Artichoke. I guess I am uncultured because I was expecting it to be hot! I understand that there are photos of sultry women in the men's bathroom. Not so in the women's bathroom. I loved the umbrellas!

We came here tonight on a whim after being scared off from another restaurant where they literally could not fit more people in than were there. Highwood as a whole is dicey about distancing, so fair warning.
Anyway, we stopped in to check out the menu and while slightly limited, a really good variety of both apps, meals and drinks. And while they also had a decent crowd, tables are decently spread out and we were much more comfortable here.
To start, the drinks (martinis) were well made and the beer selection is one of the better ones in town.
Apps were fantastic...tons of selection and the mushroom and truffle ravioli were excellent.
Mains are where it's a bit limited, but good split of meat v fish. Little heavy on the fish v meat for a French restaurant, but in the end, not a big deal. We had the beef tenderloin and duck and both were solid.
We were too full for dessert, but there was a great menu as well.
Great staff as well, which was a bonus as the current labor squeeze has resulted in some sub-optimal service at other places of late.

THE BEST EVERYTHING for our anniversary lunch. We were transported from cold drizzle ourside to the warm glow of France in the current diningroom decor. Perfect in every way. Anette and Rodrigo served us impecably with grace and friendliness. Every sip of wine and bite was delicious: Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Broiled Salmon (really medium rare), Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions in Mushroom Sauce and Roquefort; amazing Lemon Creme Brulee and Orchard Tart with carmel sauce.
We were steady customers beginning 42 years ago until a hiatus a few years back. It's wonderful to be treated to the rejuvenated Froggy's we used to love. We'll be back.
We live this French gem! From impeccable service to super Delicious food, warm, cozy atmosphere and super cute decor - we loved it all. Especially the attention to the birthday girl on a special day . We will be back soon !!

Visited for the first time on Christmas Eve. Fantastic food and the ambiance was perfect for a cold evening out. Welcoming service and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Lobster Bisque!
We enjoyed another excellent meal last night at Froggy’s. The food, service and wine was at its usual five star level. Each entree (salmon, chicken,steak) was perfect and delicious. And reasonably priced. A real gem in Highwood, which has many very good restaurants.
Wonderful cuisine with a local atmosphere. This place has been around for many years and has stood the test of time. The dishes were all well plated and prepared to perfection. It had been a long time since we had been here and it was just as good as then. The chef is involved in all the dishes and personally visited with us to check how our meal was. We also finished our meal with a double chocolate pastel. It was amazing. Lots of new trendy place to try but as great as this
Nice place. Good wait staff, good menu. Interior is a bit dated and quite a bit brighter than you would expect. Meats at dinner were somewhat overdone (re: dry), but their saucier knows what they are doing, and helped out a slab of dry duck. Also, a bit pricey, for what you end up with, but, all in all, a worthwhile stop. I'm not in a huge hurry, but I'll definitely give it another whirl.
