Love being able to walk to this place for breakfast or lunch, with great food and great people! Selling the house after 17yrs, and I will so miss having the South Store Cafe (and the Berry Barn, of course) 'just around the corner'. Being here in the heart of Wine & Berry Country, yet so close to everything around, has truly been a treat! The bread pudding? Best Ever. Cold brew coffee...so good I can skip the cream. Quiche that is light but filling And has a proper flakey pastry shell? Awesome! Have never had a bad experience with this place.

The best roadside cafe I have ever been! I had the italian torta, and it was unbelievable! Friendly staff, quaint charming little place. Will return if I have the opportunity! :-)

One of my favorite brunch spots! The food is always good, the latte’s are to die for, and the customer service is great 😊 The only down sides are a small parking lot, and busy weekends.

Simply the best quiche my wife and I have ever tasted! Thin flaky crust baked perfectly, and the filling was fluffy with eggs and bacon and cheese cooked just right. Still soft but firm enough to hold it's shape and not be over cooked. The top was a wonderful golden brown... I should'a took a picture.... we must go back soon. Dom Franco

Shh!!! Don't tell anyone, but the SSC is one of my favorite magical country haunts. It doesn't hurt that I'm so local but whenever breakfast in bed calls (fyi: sadly that service is not on THEIR menu) or I'm craving scones, pastries, heavenly high quiche, or (my absolute favorite) the oatmeal, we pop over the moment we can face the world out of our pjs. Ok, let's be honest.. I'm that mom in her PJ's waiting in line for take out. But, darn it! It's worth It! ♡

We started with dessert- blackberry cobbler topped with whipped cream. The lunch was excellent and the outdoor patio darling. We wandered across the street to Smith Farms for a few culinary delights. What a wonderful countryside excursion and a house with a story to tell.

This local gem has been around for a while and it's always special to visit. I have memories going as a kid and loving it and now I appreciate the amazing food even more. Every sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and they always have a great selection of delicious pastries! I also love that they have a variety of options for different diets and they use so many local ingredients.

Absolutely perfect little spot out in the “country”. The food is made from scratch every day and the setting is in the beautiful farmland just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant itself is an old farmhouse with original architecture, seats, tables, and various decor. The staff is friendly and helpful, and gives a family-run vibe. The food and coffee are great- definitely check out the biscuits and gravy! A great spot for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. Take a nice drive out on a sunny day and treat yourself to this local gem.

This place has amazing food! Even the coffee is delicious 🤤 and specials are always on point! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for over 2 years now. Very consistent. We also can never resist those delicious looking pastries either. The atmosphere is great too. Unfortunately with COVID-19 going around, they’re only open for takeout. Still totally worth it though.

Amazing place, cozy with fresh food. We used to come all the time before the lockdown, but now they do takeout only. The sausage mushroom strata is just as good as it's always been!

Amazing wine makers dinner with Raptor Ridge. Stunningly presented food that was extremely balanced as well as delicious. Very thoughtful menu and paired well with the wines. They also have beautifully curated non-alcoholic drinks to match each course as well.

Very friendly staff, I tried the turkey pesto half sandwich with white bean soup and it was delicious. There are 3 dining areas (2 inside and a patio that extends the length of the house) so whichever side you park on you can walk inside even though it may seem like that door isn't right. I guess I should mention that it's built like a 2 story house. The turkey wasn't as savory as I was expecting but you can't go wrong with pesto lol. The soup was a little on the small side but the croutons were still crunchy when I was eating it so it is tailored to order. There's a cute little garden on the side and limited parking but seating is also sparse so it balances out. Just don't park on the street or you will get a ticket.
