30 minute wait? Absolutely worth it. Dog friendly patio!
First breakfast/brunch spot we have tried since our move to Oregon and I think we might have to try EVERYTHING on the menu.
We started with cappuccinos, you can add any flavoring of choice:hazelnut, raspberry, vanilla etc.
The croissant & jam was my absolute FAVORITE, fresh baked and flaky af. Get the croissant!!!!!!!
The baked eggs were amazing, quite rich for and very filling. I could only eat half, sharing is caring with this one!
My husband got the Chef's omelette, vegetarian style and really enjoyed it.
Our server, Ryan was so kind and brought out a water bowl for our puppy!

This is the perfect place for the brunch. Exactly this is what I was looking for ☺️
Good customer service, free refill of the coffee, jam served with croissant was just too good, value for money but only thing I can suggest would be a good interior.
Sitting there feels very crowded and noisy.

I showed up a few minutes before 8am, when La Provence opened. When they opened, I sat at the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. The Benedict itself was very tasty... Ham was tender and juicy, croissant buttery and flakey, hollandaise was very butter heavy but not really any tang. That could just be their style.
The problem was the large side of seasoned red potatoes were barely warm. I understand the cooks need to get sides prepped and ready for service, but they shouldn't be so cool at 8:05. I would like to give them another try when I'm near.

Oooooo, this little spot was just too adorable. I must say, I felt exquisite dining here haha. There's curtains at the entrance which was a surprise to me. Didn't expect curtains but they're lovely, it's a good thing. Sat down right away and immediately starting enjoying the atmosphere. The art and styling isn't a 5 star restaurant galleria but I felt damn fancy sitting inside of this place. I ordered the caramelized banana French toast, it was delightful. Well damn worth it's price and well worth it's taste. The presentation and tasting just as good as it looks completely won me over. I enjoyed the hell out of those French toast. It's sweet, not too sweet, and the walnuts on top add a nice crunch and some calmness to the sugar. I took myself out on the nicest little morning date and I will be coming back again to spoil myself some more.

I would return here again .But it's a expensive place so I reserved it only for my special occasions. Julia my server was lovely. She will remember me as much as I will remember her great service & warm personality .
Try the chocolate mousse square dessert & not the hazelnut one. The choux pastry is also good with hazelnut cream in it. Wouldn't get the Napoleon again. My omelette was made to perfection with chicken sausage inside it. I was full for the next 3 hours after my meal .

Food is excellent. Fresh and delicious. Recommend the caramel walnut roll, so flaky and buttery! Tolk a group there for brunch today and all were impressed with the food, but service was just ok. So I'd rate the food a 5, but with 3 star service.

I stopped here and picked up some potatoes before my flight. The croissants were great, the hazelnut eclair was great. I also enjoyed the tiramisu.

Pre-ordered a to-go order of these beautiful pastries. They are delicious!! The staff were super friendly and helpful in making sure they were ready on time and had the variety we wanted. Thank you!!

We went in intending to just get dessert but we ended up ordering some food as well. Everything was delicious. We got to dessert sampler plates as well as the Parisian sipping chocolate plate with fruit and Brie. My favorite from the dessert sampler was the lemon graffiti. It's sort of like a Napoleon with layers of chocolate and lemon curd instead of the traditional Napoleon. I've never much cared for the flavor of Napoleons although they are very beautiful because they are a bit bland. La Provence's version is amazing. The portions look tiny when they come out but the food is so rich I felt completely satiated the time we were done.

Great venue, food was delicious. I will say, it was kind of weird that they sat me in the corner facing the wall, when the restaurant was about 90% empty. Considering how nice it was outside, it would’ve been nice to have a better view during breakfast. I understand I was by myself, but the place was empty. Outside of that, it was great.

Delicious brunch spot with a lovely outdoor patio. The Creamy Polenta with poached eggs, spinach and mushrooms was superb! The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I'm so glad to discover such a wonderful place to enjoy.

Pathetic customer service, not kids friendly. Rude server and manager, will never recommend it to anyone.

Fresh and ripe ingredients, I've tried several lunch and breakfast items and never been unhappy with what I got. They don't really do your standard breakfasts (given it is French inspired) and have limited options if you are diabetic (but then very few places have good options there). I only give them 4 stars because the tables are very small and seating is tight so you always feel a little squished. They make great coffee, chai, and you should try their sipping chocolates (if not diabetic of course). Their croissants are wonderful. The side of fruit that comes with most plates has perfectly ripe tasty fruit 95% of the time.
In response to comments about the staff I've always found them to be nice if sometimes understaffed so very busy during lunch rush.

Wow, they sold all their croissants so the restaurant had none. Very poor management when quite a few of their menu items called for a croissant.

The only place I've been in Portland that actually have authentic French croissants. I love the food and all the choices they have. Also, the atmosphere is so cute and French! As someone who lived in Paris, this place is doing great.

Always a good meal, and good service. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was the decision to take their amazing eggs Benedict off the menu for Mother's Day. Kinda silly whom ever made that decision.. However we will always come back for that monte cristo! Oh man is that tasty!!

I ordered the salmon with artichoke. My husband ordered the chicken cordon bleu. Both were amazing! Our kids got cheeseburger sliders from the kiddo menu.... they devoured those things! To finish off our family meal, we got the sipping chocolate flight with Italian, mint, Parisian and strawberry chocolate samples.... all four of us went to town on the strawberry! Service was fantastic as well. We will definitely be visiting again.

This place is great. The food was delicious and creative, the staff seemed to genuinely care about the customers' experience, and it is not as expensive as it looks.
The outdoor seating is nice. Check out the pastry cases while you're there. Conveniently located right at the MAX stop.

Food and wait staff were excellent. Hostess was not friendly or helpful, but our waiter quickly made up for it. Will go back!
