I love getting a burger here at lunch time! it's just what I need to escape the corporate scene for an hour or so and enjoy a great burger.
I read the review about the service dog but that is not relevant and do we know that it was a true service dog or just a companion dog. Big difference between the two animals.

Like the bar, like the employees, but how can you charge people money to play music on a jukebox and the speakers are so blown out the music sounds absolutely terrible? Are speakers really that expensive to replace?

I love this place but to decline a service animal is ILLEGAL!
This in no way reflects on the service but strictly the manager being at the establishment drinking and staff saying they would be fired if they allowed a service animal.
You could endanger someone's life. Service dogs can be trained to recognize a seizure and save a life.
Maybe the establishment should consider a manager who knows the laws and follows them. Very disappointed!😲😞
Here is what the ADA says:
In Oregon, you may bring your assistance animal into any place of public accommodation. Public accommodations include places that are open to the public and owned by the government; services that are offered to the public and provided by a governmental body; and places and services that offer the public accommodations, facilities, goods, services, lodging, amusements, transportation, and so on. For example, restaurants, shops, hotels, service establishments, hospitals, and arenas all fall within this definition. However, Oregon law specifically doesn't cover state hospitals, private clubs, and certain correctional facilities.
Under the ADA, the definition of public accommodations is both broad and detailed. It includes:
hotels and other lodging establishments
public transportation and terminals, depots, and stations
restaurants and other places that serve food and drink
sales or rental establishments
service establishments
any place of public gathering, such as an auditorium or convention center
places of entertainment and exhibit, like theaters or sports stadiums
gyms, bowling alleys, and other places of exercise or recreation
recreational facilities, such as zoos and parks
libraries, museums, and other places where items are collected or displayed publicly
educational institutions, and
social service centers, like senior centers, homeless shelters, and food banks.

This is your everyday neighborhood pub stop where everyone knows your name, mostly locals visit and play VP if they're not having a blast at the bar. A variety of Hip Hop and classic rock play on the jukebox if the DJ isn't spinning requests. Most of the time this place is jammin and upbeat . Age groups from mainly 30 years to 59 will frequent here.
Some of the older female bartendersseem a bit rough but are actually pretty cool .
