This food was really good! My husband got a burrito and it was really filling he only ate half. I got two mole enchiladas and the mole was really great, kind of spicy but very yummy. They were also really filling I ate one and took one home. I did have to ask the waitress for water, utensils and chips and dip after we had ordered and been sitting down for like 10 minutes (and it was just us and another couple), but she was young and could have been learning. We’ll definitely be going again.

Delicious food. I got the enchilada plate and it was very tasty. They are not afraid to add spice to the food. Very good flavors!

What a wonderful experience.
Lucia and her family are incredible.
The food was exquisite.
I am a huge fan of Oaxaca so I felt like I was sitting in oaxaca as I ate my meal.
Give this a try you will not be disappointed.

The first time I ate here, I loved it. I thought it was the best margarita I’ve ever had. I was excited to return. I showed up after work. I ordered a margarita and the young person at the cash register said they wouldn’t have a bartender for an hour and a half. I left.
The second time I went there I took a friend. I made sure that they were open at 11 o’clock on Saturday. We showed up at noon. The sidewalk advertising placard was out. The restaurant was locked. I called the number on the placard. I was told the staff were at the other restaurant.
I drove from a distance and recommended the restaurant to my friend.
If you don’t have staffing, change your hours. Update your hours on your social media and website. Pull in your sidewalk placards. The community invested a lot of charity money getting this restaurant up and running after the fire. It’s disrespectful to the other area merchants who are trying to revitalize downtown Hillsboro. Nothing will kill a business quicker than false advertising.

What a joyful, colorful atmosphere. Quality of food is great--uniquely authentic Oaxacan food, made fresh daily with original family recipes. Servers and owners are sweet, delightful people.

So good, I almost don't want to say anything. A real unique style, and authentic Oaxacan food. So far the best I've had outside Mexico. Great service as well.

We wandered in on a Saturday early evening and had a great meal. We visited Oaxaca in the past and wanted authentic components of a Oaxacan meal. Our meal were great - Tlayudas, Mole enchiladas., and memlitas. Service was attentive but did not pressure us. Also enjoyed the mezcal margaritas, which were huge. Highly recommend

Service is slow. Had to go up front and ask for water. They don’t serve chips and salsa by default, you have to order it and when you do they feel wired and wonder if you also will order food. On the menu food looks good, haven’t had mine yet, still working on getting basic Mexican restaurant services that I am used to getting.
Wow - after some wait time, what a great food. It is all made fresh, don’t go there expecting food immediately. This is truly an authentic Mexican restaurant.
