Really not sure what to say I read the reviews but decided to go anyway. Spent 25 minutes in the drive-through waiting on ice cream. I tried to leave multiple times but was stuck between giant trucks spewing diesel fumes and misplaced Testosterone. I am not sure what was going on I’ve never been to a Dairy Queen that has so many employees just staring and only one person working on ice cream. Ordered a hot fudge sundae I was given a cup of ice cream with Nuts I’m not sure what that was. Eventually our order was correct and everything did taste good.

All I can say is wow, I’ve never been to a Dairy Queen that has been operated like this. It’ll be very hard for me to even consider giving this location another try and the owner should probably start having secret shoppers hit this place up.
First, I got to the drive thru and waited behind the car at the intercom about three minutes. Thinking maybe it was that customer, I decided to just pull around and go inside.
Upon entry, there was no welcoming or even an acknowledgement of me being a customer. Once I approached the registered the young man came up and just waited for me to start the procedure by looking at me. Normally it’s a clerk who starts the ordering process.
I first asked for the fish sandwich combo, after he roughly looked over the computer for a moment he told me they “must not carry that item anymore”. He even looked at the displayed menu seeing it was there, but since he couldn’t find it on the computer, they suddenly didn’t carry it.
Okay, so then I asked him what dressing comes on the Dude combo. His response “I dunno, I’ve never had it”… really? I should have just walked out at this point but I decided to trudge through.
Amazingly in the end my order was correct. However, while waiting I observed just how dirty this store was. The beverage counter was dirty and there was a overflow of trash trash from the bin. Then I noticed trash just sitting around in various areas.
Once my order was ready, the young man handed me the order that was made to go. When I told him I still hadn’t received the slushy drink, he just turned around and walked away. He didn’t even attempt to get the drink or tell anyone else to help me.
Eventually a young lady came up asking if I ordered a ice cream and I told her I was still waiting on a slushy… she made the drink and then I finally left this god awful operation.
This place looks clean on the outside and you’d think it will be a traditional DQ experience. Well it’s not! My advice, avoid this DQ stop sign of Texas and go to the truck stop next door. At least those folks welcomed me and asked how I was doing etc.
I really wish I had taken more photos but I was just ready to get the heck outta there and home to feed the family.
I know some will think I’ve embellished this review, but out of all my reviews. This is probably the worse one I have ever given this much detail on.
They can’t even blame Covid for the poor customer service at this store. At this point they should be able to find people who are willing to put a hint more care into their work than these kids. Even if a replacement just said ‘yeah’ to me, that would had been a 100 percent improvement on customer service.

This is more of a pat on the back review. This little boy and I'm assuming Grand father, found a wallet full of cash and credit cards on the floor inside the Dairy Queen and found the owner it belonged to instead of keeping it. The owner said he whole life was in his wallet (he knew the color of the wallet and its contents without seeing it). God bless the good folks of Texas.

I write this in hopes that whoever works here currently or works here in the future takes this to heart. I've been here on a few occasions in the evenings, so my experiences have been with the crews that work the closing shift. Right off the bat, the dining room and the front of the store need more attention. I've been in there and trash cans were filled to the top with trash, there were napkins and receipts on the floor. I didn't step foot into the restroom, but I can only imagine how it looks in there. This is the first thing people see upon entering, and if it looks that bad, you know you're in for an interesting experience.
The people working when I've been there look fairly young. I don't know who the shift manager is, but I've noticed a lack in leadership. When things pick up, some of the workers walk around and look lost. Wrong orders and long wait times seem to be commonplace here. I understand that times are tough right now and people are opting to work elsewhere because fast food is a thankless job with low pay (I've been there), but it was like this even before Covid. With the right person leading, this place can turn around, and I believe this location can turn around. Take pride in your work and be respectful to one another (yes, I've heard the arguing and the drama in the back). Little changes you guys make will go a long way in the end. Good luck

I was traveling through the area and stopped by for an ice cream. There was one car in line in front of us. It took 15-20 minutes to order. Then after we paid were told that it would be a longer wait to change out the ice cream bag so we cancelled our order. Love Dairy Queen, but this was a big disappointment.

So disappointed with our visit tonight. First of all the person taking our order had us repeat our order multiple times. Honestly, I think she was on something. The way she talked and acted was not normal. After we placed our order for two blizzars and a dip cone we sat down to wait. Another customer walked in and ordered a blizzard and immediately got their food. No problem I realized we had a bigger order. So we sat, and sat, and sat some more. Two more customers come in and order and get their blizzards. One of them asked how long we had been waiting and I realized that it had been about 30 minutes since we ordered. He, the other customer, got upset and asked a worker about our order. The worker told him it was coming up. I asked for their new blizzard, Girl Scout Thin Mint. Not a drop of thin mints, instead they put in Oreo cookie bits. When I went to talk to the manager her response was just to say sorry. She then shrugged her shoulders and said I'm sorry again. Then she ignored me. While there I saw an employee in the grill area playing on his phone and ignoring customers, another customer waited for ten minutes for someone to take his order. An employee came to the register and told him he couldn't take his order and that the same employee that took our order would have to take his and he needed to wait. The girl that took orders just sat in a booth and looked at the customer when the young man told her to go take the order. Needless to say, the customer was upset and left.
I would hope that the owner and Dairy Queen corporation look at these reviews and make a change at this location. I was so disappointed and we won't be going back.

I have tried to eat here for several months. System is always down and basically they say they are closed. Today same cash only and ice cream machine down. I’m not sure how they stay open because getting food from there is impossible. It used to be a great place to eat. I sure miss going the this DQ. Hopefully they get it together but it will be a while before I try it again.

Drive through clerk, “We’re not doing ice cream at the moment.” LOL Did I not drive up to Dairy Queen? I thought I did. Wait! I did! I also waited in the drive through line for approximately 10 min. So if you had filled your machine when it notified you it was empty, the ice cream would be ready by now because you said it takes 10 minutes. Get a second machine maybe. I don’t know but I think most people that drive up to Dairy Queen expect to be served ice cream. And this fat girl wanted ice cream on her 3 hour drive.
