Bento boxes are fantastic for a quick and ready meal, custom ones are amazing but the premises are also delicious.
So I eat here a lot. Enough that the employees know me on site. In my opinion this is just about the best Korean food you are going to get on the Big Island. They specialize in take out plate lunches and bentos. They have my favorite meat jun, and a decent selection of veggies and other options.

I was able to place and pay for my take-out order via phone for pickup. I did not get the woman's name who took my order but she was very helpful and kind. I ordered the bento and a soda since the lunch menu was not available until 11am. Great portions and pricing.
The Kang family runs a respectable, efficient, and quality Korean lunch shop. I’ve been coming here since they opened many years ago and have always appreciated their lunch options. Their sides are generous and really nice quality.
A great little shop with authentic lunch plates! We ordered the Kalbi & Korean chicken, both were made fresh to order and sizzling hot. The appetizers were delicious, and the kimchi was not too spicy. The cashier was the friendliest lady and gave us great tips on where to go & eat around Hilo! This
Love H&K! Perfect selection for Pupus or a hardy Plate lunch. My favorites are the Meat Jun and the Mochiko Chicken. Ala Carte portions are very reasonable!
