We had a wonderful experience here! The food is absolutely amazing. We went with a large party for a birthday, and the staff was excellent and very friendly. The bartender was very knowledgeable. My one year old had the mac and cheese, and it was hard not to eat it all after trying a bite. The location is great and it wasn't too crowded when we went. We had never been before, but we will definitely be going back!

Met our wives there for lunch and had a great experience. Food and local craft beer selection was excellent. We enjoyed it so much and the hostess told us about the special fried chicken dinner that we went back. Absolutely the best southern fried chicken we have ever had. Also a good bourbon and wine selection. If you are visiting or live near by this is a must
Sunday Brunch was outstanding, nice selection of food items, our server was very attentive to our needs, with refill of drinks (mimosas) to non alcoholic drinks, was always there to remove our dirty plates so we could go back to buffet tables. Five stars for sure!
Amazing! Had the farmers sandwich...the best on the island. French fries were great and the burger put that other famous place to shame.......will definitely be back.

Good sweet tea, best she crab we had while there. Food is good and we'll presented. Service does need a lot improvement. Get a trainer in there...money will be well spent

Great food and even better service! Jacob gave us the full menu tour and did not disappoint. We started with the fried green tomatoes and sour of the day, which was chili. Perfect for a crisp fall day. Followed by shrimp mexi Cali salad and the southern Cuban. He had also recommended the chicken salad, so we grab a pound of that togo. Everything was delicious! Make sure and book a reservation though, since they are always packed.
Wowza! This is SO good. Lovely setting, elegant and comfortable. So many healthy options, such excellent fresh, flavorful, super portions, good prices for what you get. Tomato basil soup was delicious, fresh, good sized bowl! The fried green tomatoes w goat cheese, bacon, tomato sauce? Whut?! So good. Our salads, shrimp, smoked chicken and fried chicken was incredible. These are some of the nicest salads I’ve ever had! Such a highlight of our trip to a lovely island. Lots of places to choose from but this one needs to be on your short list. Jane is also a family run, strong women and pride in tradition! Way to go gals! (Jane is not only the great grandmothers name but is the first letter of the next 3 generations of daughters. So cool!)
This was my favorite meal during our visit to HHI. I could eat the garlic shrimp appetizer every day of my life! It is so delicious, hearty, and cheesy. The perfect beach comfort food! The presentation was gorgeous with the floral garnishes. Also had the mahi and it was delicious. The ambiance is very classy and relaxed. Loved the modern coastal vibe. Highly recommend.
We ordered fried green tomatoes appetizers, which were the best we'd ever had. I had the butcher sandwich, which was fresh and savory, and my wife had the chicken salad platter, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the furnishings were clean and comfortable.
Found this place in a short-handed hunt for lunch and absolutely loved it! We were able to be seated outside on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed every minute of our time here. You could tell the sandwiches we had were made with fresh ingredients and careful attention. The sweet tea was as beautiful as it was refreshing. Our server, Kelsey, had a positive attitude and heightened our experience.
My family and I came here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the service and food. I had the Salmon BLAT and coconut cake as my dessert. Both were absolutely delicious! Our waiter Evgenii was excellent and very helpful. I 100% recommend you dining here!

The Fish and Chips were really tasty. Shoestring fries were warm and crispy, and the fish had a thicker batter than expected for beer batter...but I really enjoyed it! Unfortunately it's only available during their lunch menu.
The "smashburger" isn't really a smash burger IMO, but just a regular burger.
In a shopping plaza with a variety of dining options, this is a bit more upscale, but not overly so. Covered outdoor seating and indoor seating available. Everything was very clean and professional. The staff were all very pleasant and took pride in keeping the place tidy.
Family dinner . ..visiting relatives here...from New York for Easter...nice place..good staff ...I enjoyed my Tuscan Chicken dinner...appetizers flatbread ..veggie platter..hummus...chicken w drinks too...tried Strawberry Basil...I liked it...Mac n cheese platters for kids...fruit cup n Shirley Temples..a very big portion for kids...they liked it too...

I just wanna lead off with I've never thought I'd like a white woman's cooking so much. Jokes aside, everything was good with the meal, from the cocktails to appetizers to main dishes. We got the flatbread and thai chicken wings which were so freaking good for no reason. We even got another order of the wings to go because we knew we would crave it later! The meatloaf was super impressive, coming from a guy who doesn't ever eat meatloaf. I saw the table next to me receive one and it was so good lookin that I had to get it too. The tuscan chicken pasta and southern salad were also enjoyed at our table very very much. Cannot go wrong. What was really notable was the medium-medium well cook on the meatloaf and the fact that it wasn't too greasy so it was actually managable to finish.
The only thing that could've gone better was that service was hard to flag down when we needed some things for the table. Our waiter passed by us a bunch of times without pausing to check on us so it was kinda awkward. He was still polite when we were able to get a hold of him. Other than that the experience was great. Hands down best restaurant on this island.
Went for Mama's Freakin Meatloaf. They had removed it from menus for summer. We spoke with the owner, told her we came all the way from Annapolis. She was stunned and she told us to come back Monday, "we'll have it for you." I tried the double Smash Burger w Shoestring Fries, very good. My wife had the Toasted Pecan Cranberry Chicken Salad which she enjoyed. We ordered the Coconut Cake for take home. Fantastic! This restaurant has a simple menu. Well worth the visit.

We visited Jane Bistro and Bar on Monday approximately 3:00 pm. The only reason they dropped from a five star review to a four was due to the gentleman who met us at the front desk and proceeded to tell us that they were only serving appetizers since it was in between lunch and dinner. His tone and mannerisms were not inviting, but seemed as though we had bothered him. But, we took it with a grain of salt and were seated in nice comfortable leather chairs. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered the fried green tomato caprese and the shrimp dip for appetizers. The presentation was mouthwatering and the flavors were superb. I would definitely order these again! My wife then ordered the Rouster's salad consisting of apples, greens, grapes, feta and walnuts with a poppyseed dressing. Excellent taste and preparation. My salad was the Southern salad with smoked bacon, fried green tomato croutons and cheese with bacon vinaigrette and buttermilk dressing. Delicious and well prepared. The environment is cozy and nice along with clean looks and a great wait staff. We would surely come back again.
The food was great. Chicken salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. My friend and I had an issue with the check. My total was around $8.50. I gave the server $10. I got $1.00 in change. Where’s the rest of it. My friend expected $11.45 in change, she got $11. Is that their practice?
Came in early on a Friday evening for dinner with family (with a reservation) and Jane’s didn’t disappoint! Just moved here, so slowly exploring the local fare. Was told by a friend that had been vacationing on HHI that Jane’s was a MUST try as she was absolutely right! I had the beef stroganoff which was off the charts. Others in my party had the Roasted Beet & Citrus salad w/Salmon and Double Smash Burger. Food was amazing. As was the atmosphere and our server, who was very well-versed with the menu and the wine list too! Highly recommend Jane’s!
Had lunch here today with a friend I hadn't seen for a very long time. We sat down and spent a good half hour catching up. The waitress was so patient with us and her service was excellent. Our salads came and they were wonderful! (Cobb salad) Our hummus plate was also delicious. We sat at a table in the bar area, but the whole restaurant was nicely arranged and they have outdoor seating too. Great portions.....I couldn't finish! Really enjoyed our whole experience at Jane Bistro and Bar!
Today was just cocktails but LOVE LOVE the salads. Music. Spot on, atmosphere amazing, drinks and bar area, stellar, service, 2nd to none and food is fantastic
Cute place, great cocktails and food. We had the chicken and biscuits and the flautas that were more the size of chimichangas! Portions were huge. Cocktails were good, the Pink lemonade was refreshing and husband enjoyed the Salinger Sling. Service a little slow, but they're training new people, so to be expected. Recommend a reservation for Sunday brunch as it was really busy.
Some of the best chicken salad I have ever eaten. Delicious! The salmon BLAT was fantastic. (Salmon, bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato.) Love the tiny shoestring FF in a cup. Service was excellent and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend.
Skylar was our server and she was awesome. She was friendly and efficient bringing our order out quickly and correctly. We started with fried green tomatoes and mozzarella. My wife had Mexi Cali salad and I had the meatloaf. They were both delicious. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. We saw a huge piece of cake go by and we both decided we were full. Maybe next time because they looked so good. We have been to Jane's a few times when we are here and they do not disappoint. Good cocktails too. Check them out.
