The food here is pretty good I had the lasagna and the brownie for dessert. Our server was so patient while we decided on what to order. Unfortunately we were seated in the back corner next to a large fire extinguisher facing the emergency exit. There was no view at all not even a nice view to see the resteraunt. I have not been back but may go someday.
No doubt the foods here are very very good and definitely worth the money! The size is also quite decent.
But make sure that you will need to reserve your spots days ahead.

This place absolutely knocked it out of the park for us! It dominated every place we tried this weekend in HH! This is authentic Italian food prepared from scratch with love! We are originally from Boston, now living in Charleston…it’s been years since we have tasted ‘real’ Italian food. Our waitress was outstanding! She went above & beyond, guided us through the menu making recommendations and ensuring that we got the exact experience that we wanted! We actually tried to go back again for our last supper before leaving but they are closed on Sundays :(
Amazing Italian restaurant in the heart of Hilton Head. Delicious food and great service, we are definitely coming back next time! Make sure you reserve ahead as they are very busy, which is always a good sign.
Absolutely 5 stars. Our Last night on the Island after eating fish & seafood all week. Great Italian. Started with Olive Di Casa, Calamari & House Bread. Beautiful! Calamari fried light & crispy, the way it should be. House bread was SO Italian! My Grandaughter & I love to pile our Italian bread with butter! Heaven. 4 of us, we ordered 2 Lasagna AL Forno & 2 Linguine E Polpette. (3 nice size meatballs) Sauces are spot on. Outstanding! Note: Driving home to Fla today, Hubby, myself, Daughter & Grandaughter have enough for lunch! Atmosphere is lovely. Service top notch. Make reservations. Bon appetit!
Unbelievably delicious!!! The service was amazing! Staff was very friendly! The restaurant is very quaint and we loved the vibe there! Food was some of the best Italian food we’ve had in a long time! Definitely will be returning when we come back in town!
Good food, good service, but you are sitting on top of each other. The hostess needs a lesson in being nice.
Cute Italian restaurant tucked in at the end of a shopping center. They offer indoor or outdoor seating. They did a great job of using the space to maximize seating. We enjoyed the eggplant appetizer, bottle of wine, seafood pasta we split between two and the brownie dessert. Everything tasted amazing!! We were impressed with the service by Dylan and the wonderful flavors in the dishes. We look forward to coming back again soon the next time we visit the area.
Pomodori Italian eatery is truly a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island and one of my favorite restaurants. Located on the south end on New Orleans road. Chef Amanda and her staff create classic Italian dishes that are impeccable. My goto favorites are the calamari fritti, orecchiette or linguine and meatballs. But you really cant go wrong regardless of what you pick. And do save room for a cannoli.
Plus, they have an extensive collection of wines. The ambience is laid back & friendly; but Pomodori is on the smaller side when it comes to seating so reservations are highly recommended. And you may want to book a few weeks in advance of your stay on Hilton Head. However if you’re on the island and can’t get a table you can order take out as of this writing which is also a great option.
Seriously though this is one of the best places on Hilton Head so don’t miss it!

Pomodori was our first choice to celebrate my wife’s 63rd birthday while vacationing in Hilton Head. We called to secure a reservation on November 10, and we were able to get a 5pm seating for two. We were immediately seated and our server, Dillon, was quickly there giving us the specials for the night and asking if we would like a beverage. My wife had a nice Zinfandel and I had a pale ale beer. Insalata, Cavolo e Pecorino and Antipasti, Zappa di Nonna were ordered and both were great tasting with just the right amount of seasoning and textures. Warm bread was served with olive oil to round out the first course. My wife ordered the Gnocchi Al Pomodori and I ordered the Zuppa Di Pesce Con Arrabiata with clams, scallops, shrimp and linguine. The gnocchi was tender and flavorful and the zuppa was loaded with seafood, which was cooked to perfection. Dessert consisted of Espresso Torte and Cannoli’s. Rave review on these two! Dillon was courteous and knowledgeable of all the menu items and very efficient. It was an overall great experience and fantastic way to celebrate a birthday. Great job!
The food was simply delicious. We sat in the bar area in the back and received wonderful service.
We stopped in for an early dinner. We did not make a reservation, but was seated inside. The bread and oil was great, would be amazing with some seasoning in the oil. We are the lasagna and the sausage pasta. Both where really good. The lasagna melts in your mouth. For appetizer, I thought we were getting mozzarella balls, but it has risotto in it. We could have easily split the meal, the portion size is huge. We would go back again!!
Definitely make a reservation for this place! It is so worth it, we were sat on the patio and received excellent service from Lauren. The food came out piping hot and the sea food in our pasta was fresher then a lot of sea food specialty places we have eaten at. Our favorite was the Zuppa linguine with the mixed seafood. Wish we had enough time to eat here again before leaving!
We were here last October; came back for July 2021. Hanan served us; we had last minute reservation and was outside at table near entrance but temperature was great; no issues. Our service was great. Salad and entrees were fresh and as ordered. We had no problems at this visit. Definitely would be a restaurant to continue coming back to for great rustic Italian.

Fantastic food!! I have never had Italian food like this before! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, definitely a great spot for a date night! We thoroughly enjoyed it! We can’t wait to return!
Love , love this place. The food here is so authentic. Coming from the Philly area, the land of awesome Italian food, this place could stand up against the best in the big city.
The strawberry salad with fresh basil was refreshing. The meatballs, wow, just like homemade if your home had an Italian grandmother! Cannolis finished off the meal. Casual vibe and first rate service make this a must stop.

The service was great. We dined without a reservation, and sat outside. The marinara was amazing. The salad was a little over priced, considering the portion. The lasagna was really good, and the eggplant parm was good, but cut pretty thick. Overall, a great place.
