Friendly service. We had the sushi nachos as an appetizer, and they were beautifully presented and had very nice, balanced flavors. As a main dish, I ordered the salmon poke bowl. The flavors were also quite good. My only critique is that I wasn’t a fan of the mixed greens, as they gave the bowl a stringy texture. My boyfriend ordered the Dirty South burger, which he said was moist and flavorful. The truffle fries were also great. Overall, a good experience, and I would go back. It’s nice to be able to order both sushi/poke and burgers depending on your mood.
First time here, sat on the patio. It was very hot and they didnt have the fans on for some reason. Server was very friendly and fast. Enjoyed the chips and onion dip as an app. I got the backyard burger with truffle fries. It was pretty good, nothing that blew me away. Big portion though. Fries looked normal and didnt seem to be the rosemary truffle fries but i guess they changed them? They were crispy though. Prices kinda high in my opinion but overall the group likes this place. Will try a different burger next time
Picked this place based off of a free hilton head dining book. I don't want to give a low rating because I feel that I was disappointed in my choice. My friends were happier with their meals. I didn't like the sweet potato tots. My burger was just ok.. now I wish I would have chosen the sushi since it's more of what I like.. our waitress was great. We ate outside and the patio area was really nice. If you want a good appetizer bang bang shrimp is really good
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Comfortable seating and would recommend in a heartbeat. This place is a gem and we will be returning anytime we are in the area. Sushi and burgerS!!
Our first time trying Charbar and it didn't disappoint. The sushi nachos were delicious and the fried shrimp was plentiful and very well seasoned batter. The milkshake was fine, but the fries were outstanding with great crispy crunch. Service was a little slow but we chalked that up to our waitress also being the bartender since it was an odd hour.
Service was just okay, food was alright. We all ordered our burgers medium. All were cooked after their name charred. But other than the cow being killed twice, not bad.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The atmosphere, food, and service are all top tier, and beat out all of the ocean-side restaurants on Coligny Beach. They have burgers AND sushi (just in case your dinner party is divided on what to eat). I got the pesto hummus plate (vegan!) and sweet potato tots.. so good! Also ordered the knee deep cocktail - delicious! Amazing food/drinks at the right price. If I come back to HHI, this will be my first food stop.

Honestly, I can’t think of a better burger I have ever had in my life! I had the breakfast burger and I requested the egg be not runny. It was so good!! I also had the onion rings as a side and they were good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was great too. This will definitely become a regular for us.

Love this place. The service was amazing. We decided to sit outside, and they have a cool giant connect 4 board near their bar. The weather was great, and our server, Sharon, was wonderful.
We decided on Charbar because some of our party wanted burgers and some of us wanted sushi. With this restaurant, we were able to get great sushi AND great burgers. The rolls are creative and delicious. (This was the first time I've ever found arugula on sushi. It works, especially if you love arugula!) The burgers were juicy and also very creative, but you also have the choice to build your own burger if you want.
This restaurant has a ton of great options, and we enjoyed eating here very much. They are also a part of the Surge group, so you can get 10% off if you're staying at the DVC resort. We actually forgot about this until after they rang up our check and paid, but when we asked about it, they refunded our bill and issued us a new one with the 10% off. Amazing place. I will definitely be back.
