The BEST grouper I’ve ever had. Platters and sandwiches come with the same amount of food. Coleslaw was yummy too. Lots of parking out front. Plenty of tables inside and there are picnic tables outside. Very nice and helpful staff too!

I tried my first alligator and it was delicious! Everything was fried but you can get the fish even blackened if you prefer. The fries were delicious. Same the huspuppies. Great place where the locals go and that offers great southern food.

Best banana pudding ever! Amazing blackened gator Amazing blackened grouper Best food on the island. It may not be oceanside but you'll see and taste the love with which your meal is prepared. Ate there a few times over the week and noticed several others who were also repeat customers. Go for lunch, no waiting!

You know when everyone tells you how great a movie is and then you go see it expecting magnanimous and it is good but doesn’t live up to the hype? That was my Sea Shack experience. It was pretty good but nothing spectacular. The food was good. That being said when I spend $75 on two people for dinner I don’t expect to eat on styrofoam plates and have to fix my own drink. No real complaints but not worth sweating in line outside for 30 minutes. Would I go back? That’s going to be a hard no for me.

Sea shack is a quaint little place that's serves a solid lineup of fresh seafood. It is very convenient to the south end of the island with enough parking for as many customers as can fit in the place. The coleslaw was creamy and a touch bland but should not offend anyone. The hush puppies were sweet with a little bit of corn in them. The fries were good and crispy, though I wish they had Heinz instead of Hunts ketchup. The fish was very good with a light and crispy batter. The tartar sauce could stand a bit more tanginess but was acceptable. The only thing that was below my expectation was the shecrab soup... It just did not have the base I was expecting, though there was plenty of crab in the cup. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall this is definitely a place to try out whether local or visiting.

Loved this place... awesome food. Peel and eat shrimp cooked perfectly. I had a fish sandwich, and the hubs got the trio. All cooked to perfection. The crew was very hospitable and welcomed us like we stop in weekly. It was our first time there, but it won't be the last.

Delicious food, friendly staff. We loved everything we ate and tried some items we have never eaten before. The hush puppies are to die for.

This is the perfect hike in the wall gym. We got the shark attack sampler and split between the two of us and both were stuffed! Amazing seafood near the Coligny area. They allowed us to substitute the tilapia for extra shrimp. It also came with crab cake, fried clams, scallops, slaw, hush puppies and a choose of a side. It wasn’t busy when we went for lunch in a weekday. Walked right in and the service was so fast.

We have been coming here forever and we love it. I love anything blackened and would highly recommend coming home with some blackening seasoning. I'm a fan of anything on their menu. A great hidden treasure of the island!!!

Sea shack is a must do every time we go to Hilton head! The line moves quickly so don’t fret about the wait. But it’s worth every second - trust me! We’ve gotten both fried and broiled seafood and tried a variety of sides as well. I loved the broiled flounder but everything is delicious!!
