You might want to make a reservation before going. Even though there were only 2 of us, they still asked us if we had reservations. We didn't, but they seated us anyway. Of course, you expect the cook to be not only a good cook but a comedian as well. Our cook did not disappoint. Food was fresh and prepared well. Located in a strip center off the main highway. Highly recommended.

The ambience and service were superb. The food was prepared to perfection. The seafood was particularly delicious. The service was also very good. I would definitely come here again and recommend it to friends.

My wife and I went to Okko on a Saturday evening with some friends. For us it might have been the wrong evening to visit as the restaurant was almost entirely populated by 20 year olds and we are much older. This would have been fine if the music playing wasn't so loud it actually hurt ear drums. Surprisingly the main 2 or 3 rooms almost totally emptied by 8 pm, but I believe their was a party going on in a room out of view. I was hoping to eat Chinese food, but quickly saw the offerings were Szegewan, not Mandarin meaning - extremely spicy. It's from Northern China vs Southern China. Our friends ordered Chinese food and verified it was "hot"! My wife and I had sushi and special rolls made of rice and various raw fish. The fish was very fresh and very good as sushi and in the rolls. However, the rice below the fish on every piece of sushi - fell off in our hands. Also the sushi chef's who didn't look like they had many years of experience, did not put wasabi between the rice and fish. I had not seen sushi served this way and have been eating sushi for over 30 years. Our friends went back on a week night and told us the crowd was of all ages and the music subdued. They had Hibachi steak meals and enjoyed them. I would say to try Okko as there is a good chance you'll find something you'll enjoy. Their bar area is very nice looking as is the entire restaurant.

S U P E R B Asian cuisine and excellent service. Our first visit to Okko was a enjoyable and delicious Valentines Day dinner out. We made our reservation (off season aw few weeks out) and had a great romantic two-top table near the Sushi raw bar. Okko's decor is very posh and they played great relaxing background music. We were quickly seated and started off with Eggrolls with duck and a spicy tuna roll both were delicious. They have good wine and cocktail list - we went with a bottle of Prosecco. We enjoyed a tasty house salad and a bowl of hot soup. For our entree's (which were served well spaced without a rush) we enjoyed Pineapple Rice with Chicken and the Hibachi dinner with shrimp, chicken, and beef. Both entrees were huge, steaming hot, and wonderful. Our server was excellent and we can't wait to go back to Okko. Be advised during summer season - the reservations are difficult. You need to reserve well before you are in town. Especially the Hibachi dining room which is a favorite for families. Cheers.

I have to say this place was really good. Our reservation was taken right away. 8 people to the table but some tables had more. Our chef was cool as a cucumber. Telling Father’s Day jokes and stuff. Very interactive with the guests. Food was portioned perfectly for the 8 people at our side of the table. We had a little left overs to bring home but not as much as other places. I can appreciate that because it eliminates waste. We would go again.

We got reservations through OpenTable. Sat down immediately. Ordered the sushi sashimi combo and it was excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. The restaurant was not very busy. Overall we were very happy!

Nice hibachi place with your usual hibachi prices. The real gem here is the tempura. The batter is light and fluffy and perfect, and the sauce is spot on. I would come here for the tempura and sushi alone, but the hibachi experience is always fun. I go the shrimp, which was awesome and a generous portion, but the bolgoki steak was exceptional and unique. So glad we ordered it. We also got a more traditional steak which was cooked perfectly and super yummy. I'm used to a bit more salad than they gave us, but it was still more than enough food. Enjoyed our outing!

I love going to this place and have since they opened in 2011. It's longevity is a testament to it's quality, consistency and expedient, friendly staff. Bear in mind, due to its popularity there may be a wait on a Friday Saturday or even during the week during the summer season. But it's well worth it especially the Hibachi room. This night we just had sushi and some red wine which were both very good. Especially the Big Mac roll it has a little of everything including a little lightly fried in a roll. It's huge but it's worth it and if you can fit a slice all in your mouth in one go, good on ya!

This was one of the few restaurants open on Christmas day. The staff was welcoming and accommodated us even though we had no reservation and the restaurant was pretty full and booked. Though initially there was a small delay to taking our order, once the order was placed the food did arrive pretty quickly. The ambience was more of that of a pub. The place does offer hi bachi and did have vegetarian options. My wife enjoyed her vegetarian roll. The food overall was good though not exceptional.

Went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. Service was very good and the food was amazing! Got hibachi and sushi and everything was freshly made. It is a little pricy but the quality of food was top notch. 👌🏼would definitely come back again.

Sup folks.... Do I recommend this place? Absolutely. First time here. I ate like a pig and everything was good. Got a Big Mac, Perfect Naruto, and 3 more and were all great. I know the Big Mac is expensive but "it's pretty big" (that's what she said). Probably one of the best places in Hilton head for sushi. The service was super fast and the waiter supper sharp. The only suggestion I would made to the restaurant is that they get a few more elaborated desserts, and add Fried Icecream to their dessert menu.

The food was delicious, and sitting at the Hibachi table was fun. My steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was really good too. While it can get really loud in there because of other tables yucking it up, the excellent food more than made up for all the ruckus.
