This place is amazing! We first found it on a trip to Hilton Head as we were planning our wedding in 2018. One bite and we knew we needed to have them as our cupcake vendor. As a vendor, Holly was so easy to work with and provided some great packages. Along with that, the presentation and flavor were outstanding. They were a hit with all of the guests. On our latest trip to SC we had to stop in for another cupcake, and that’ll probably stay a tradition for us in future visits!
I wanted to surprise my husband with cupcakes while we were in Hilton Head celebrating his birthday. These were sooo delicious! Also great customer service from the young man working the counter!

We had Sweet Carolina cater our recent wedding and they were INCREDIBLE. Our guests loved the different flavors (classic vanilla, chocolate, and Sweet Carolina) and even our cutting cake tasted delicious! Holly provided great customer service and we can't wait to stop in next time we are in Hilton Head! We recently discovered the cookies and cookie sandwiches as well and they are among the best!
Consistently delicious cupcakes. My favorite is the wedding cake flavor, but they are all great! The specialty flavors rotate daily and they come in two sizes.
We have ordered birthday cakes as well (to everyone’s delight) and now are members of the cookie club. First delivery arrived today. The cookies are HUGE and arrived in perfect condition. We and the dog shared one and it was divine.
The ladies in the shop are always welcoming and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of their products. By far, my favorite sweet shop on the island.

Love that they have a vegan option! Their service was quick and our cashier was very friendly. The atmosphere was very inviting and I loved that you could see them decorating cakes behind the counter. All of the cupcakes looked delicious! Will definitely be visiting again.
This was my second time back and I think it was better than the first. The wedding cake is a must if you like almond/amaretto. The key lime filling was yummy, but I wish there was more inside The key lime cupcake. They are pricey, but they are a good size and vacation is once a year.
We visit HHI several times a year. Sweet Carolina Bakeshop is a must-visit every time. We're always excited to see what their menu looks like when we're there. Great taste. Great quality. My favorite is the blackberry cupcake.
One of our favorite stops during our visits to Hilton Head. You really can’t go wrong, but our favorite flavors are Sweet Carolina and Red Velvet. Delicious icing and dense, soft cake. They also have vegan and gluten free options. Check the daily menu for rotating flavors.
