Delicious turkey sammies on hard rolls for our picnic at the park. The hubs even had them "make fresh" cannoli's for dessert. How delicious does that sound?!?

Granatos is my favorite Deli restaurant and store. It's great to be personally greeted by Sam when he's in the store.
I met Granato's back in the early 80's. My boyfriend would buy cracked green olives, hard salami, a chunk of fresh feta cheese, and Baci rolls. At first I didn't like the feta then one day oh my gosh I wanted some feta!! I get the same yummies every time. Spicy olives, baci rolls, cheese and some Tearamisu. Thank-you for never leaving Utah. I was sad to learn the downtown store was closed. Now that was the end of an era in that area of Salt Lake City.

Great meats, great cheeses and delicious Italian dishes with beer and wine as well as the usual beverages offered in a restaurant. The employees are very informative and helpful as well as likable. During warm months, there are local jazz bands playing on Saturday nights. Parking is good...
Incredible sandwiches. Like not preprepared. Sliced on the spot, prepared on the spot with great quantities of veggies and extras and delicious peppercinnis and olives on the side.
They recently did a remodel which makes the place just a fabulous ambience for a sandwich.
I make special stops in here for their cheeses especially the first mozzarella. It's comparably priced what you buy in a traditional grocery store except the quality of the mozzarella in the brine that they give you is way superior.
