Wow what a dune dog. My first thought was wow! whats a dune dog? So I show up on a beautiful afternoon to see the dune dog himself working in the restaurant. He was very handsome and liked it when i pet him behind the ears. So I orderd one of his world famous dune dogs and the hot hound dog. my taste buds were knocked outta the park. The dune dog was tantastic, so deep fried and yummy. The hot hound was also great, but not as hot as I had hoped. The overall atmosphere, location, food and the fact that they have the dune dog himself working in the shop, cooking up the dunes makes this place a Holland Classic.

Great food and variety, Staff was awesome and friendly. We were passing through on motorcycle trip and looked for somewhere different and good, this place took care of that. Next trip will be stopping by again. Thanks

We are local and love going to Dune Dogz! The kids love riding their bikes there to get a treat. The owners are very friendly. The last time we were there they came out to make sure everything was good! Their smoothies are the Best!

What a fun spot on the way to Holland State Park! Let’s call it extra delicious, stationary carnival food! Super charming atmosphere. Outdoor seating only. I had the Chicago style hotdog which was absolutely delicious. The fries are also a home run.

Dune Dogz is the best little beach treat shop in Holland! Not far from the beach/Holland State park, their menu offers a wide variety of ice cream and other treats, as well as food - different kinds of dogs, burgers, and sandwiches. They have a section dedicated to "Fried Stuff"! Staff are always friendly, and the food is delicious. They cost a little more than regular fast food, but the quality and beach atmosphere is worth it. Their lemonade is incredible. Nestled at the base of Mt. Pisgah, you can always go walk off those extra calories! A favorite stop for my wife and I.

They've mastered the art of making hot dogs that can out-bark any canine. And those amazing fries? Well, let's just say they're so good that even mermaids trade in their forks for a bite. The great atmosphere? It's so beachy that even the sandcastles are requesting reservations! Enjoy your beachfront feast at this "pawsitively" wonderful spot! 🏖️🌭😄

Cute snack shop near the beach! They have a very wide variety of food on the menu. Our favorite is always the pickle chips! Unfortunately, having such a wide variety means LONG wait times. My daughter (2) loved playing in the mist machine while we waited. Talked with the owner during the wait who was very kind. They do have food that can't be found down the road at the General Store. Overall, I don't think the food is worth the long wait times, but would recommend everyone try it for themselves at least once!

We were really happy with our order. Custom hot dog, corn dog, cheese curds, pickle chips and the best lemonade I’ve ever had. Good food isn’t cheap & cheap food isn’t good! Will definitely come back for more.

Was really happy with my order. The family got a dune dog, Chicago dog, hound dog, fries, shaved ice, and banana split. I didn't get to try all of it. I had the Chicago dog and bread for it had good flavor and was soft, the toppings had a good mix of acidity and spice. The fries wasn't the most crispy I've had, but the kids loved them. The banana split also tasted great after a long day at the beach. The strawberry syrup was my favorite part of it.

Always a great place to stop for quick snacks/ meal or ice cream! They have. A pretty impressive food selection and their Chicago dog is amazing! Portion sizes are good and the prices are too. Right on the main road so lots to see and do here and it’s an easy stop if you are headed to or leaving holland state park! Definitely recommend!

We really liked stopping at Dune Dogz after a nice day exploring Holland and Mt. Pisgah Sand Dune. The staff and owner were nice and friendly and service was quick around dinner time considering how many people were there. The food was hot and tasty, and as the sun set there was a good view of the colors changing in the sky above Lake Ottawa across the street. There is nice landscaping and pretty flowers to enjoy looking at while you wait for your food. The flurry I had was made with ice cream and had real strawberries in it.

Drove by while heading to Holland State Park and saw the Vienna Beef umbrellas. Being originally from the Chicago-land area, seeing Vienna Beef sparked my interest. Food was excellent - Italian Beef sandwich was better than Portillo's! My wife tried the Perch and said it was also quite tasty. We'll be back to try some other menu items - and get some ice cream too!

This place is not cheap, however, it's not a place you would eat at every day so it is worth the splurge. They have great corn dogs, amazing fresh cut fries, (like at the fair). The owners are an older, super nice couple that work all day and night when they are open. They are constantly cleaning, preparing, and checking with customers on their opinions of the food. Great people, great place.

My son ordered a hotdogs with ketchup, a medium fry, and a large lemonade. The bill came to $23.31, so yes it is pricey as other reviews have stated. The do have a large menu with all kinds of stuff, it smells remind me of a fair or carnival and so does the pricing. The food was warm when it came out, but he went up and got it before the buzzer went off that they gave him. He liked the hotdog, fries and lemonade. Probably not coming back for dinner as a family of four would run me about $100.00 and I could pay that at a few much nicer restaurants. The atmosphere is nice as you are able to watch the traffic from the beach go by as you are eating and waiting. I should add that it only took 10 minutes to get his order, but as I said the buzzer did not go off as he saw it in the window.

Nice older folks running the place. Food was excellent. Had coney dogs and corn dogs and o-rings. As for price: it's a resort/vacation community - given that, $12 for 2 corn dogs isn't bad. Also, dog friendly. Gave our little Cujo treats.

We stopped for Ice cream on the way to the beach for the evening. We ordered a small ice cream with extra fish for my toddlers to share. The employee that was preparing our order noticed we had 2 toddlers and offered to just split the ice cream into 2 smaller cones for the kids. She was even so kind to put sprinkles & little candy eyes on their cones. They were thrilled & I really appreciated her noticing & offering to do that. Lots of options for ice cream..hard serve, soft serve, slushee type drinks. Yummy Hudsonville flavors for hard serve, the biggest variety I’ve seen..even better than the grocery stores!! Will definitely stop here again!

It's a hot dog and ice cream stand by the Beach. Lots of other options if you don't want a hot dog including fish. Perfect place to grab a treat after a day at the Beach.

Great for vacationing FIBs! I'm an Illinois ex-pat and I love coming here for the Chicago dogs and wet Italian beef with mozzarella and giardiniera. It ain't Portillo's, but it reminds me of home.
