This is my favorite place to go in downtown Hollywood.... it's beautifully renovated. The staff is friendly, the food is always fresh and tasty; from their spanakopita, octopus, fresh salad, kokkinisto, pasticcio, even the burgers are awesome.... Large menu with options for everyone...and of course, I can't forget their great Happy Hour ��cheers�
You know how you’ll be talking with your friends about how horrible restaurant service can be nowadays? Well, that is not possible in this place.
I drove 9 hours from South Carolina to celebrate the engagement of my closest friends. Party started at 6pm on a Saturday evening.
On a Saturday night, The Greek Joint accommodated 40 plus people, drinking crowd people, in a casual, cocktail-style setting. What a professional team from start to finish! The food was amazing and no one wanted for anything. The bartenders were on point! On top of there game and great personalities too! When you looked around, employees were moving and hustling to make sure everyone was taken care of. Management was totally over the top gracious. The energy was perfect!!! I am sure you will have repeat customers after this.

I have been coming here for years! And now, I come back and they killed me with their pork rib entree! And the Desserts are 100% authentic! This is the best place after being in Greece! I know Greek food and these guys are the real deal!
First walked in sat right at the bar,bartender came right over, we asked her, what do recommend, first we had the hummus with pita, salmon for dinner, it was the best salmon I ever had, appetizer a calamari forgot that also excellent!

Took the family there for my son's birthday. The food is just exquisite! Authentic Greek flavors made to perfection along with an extensive menu and a great staff! Their Baklava Cheesecake is to die for!!
Excellent food and service! I had a grilled veggie and hummus plate with a Greek salad, vegan style! Jimmy the owner makes you feel like you are coming over his house for dinner. Don't miss this gem in Hollywood!

Had the pleasure of eating dinner here and Gregory was our server. He was great and polite. We did the family style dinner for $44 a person and it did nottttt disappoint. Everything was tasty and seasoned well. The lemon potatoes were authentic and perfectly cooked. Lamp chops were tasty. The filet mignon kabobs could use a sauce for it as it was a little dry but also, it still tasted great. Overall , great dinner experience and would highly recommended. The 4 dip platter for an appetizer was awesome as well. Tasted fresh.
The atmosphere is really nice here. The people are friendly. The food tastes really good. The mussels in garlic are to die for. The skirt steak was good seasoned. Shishkabob was good too. Pork was nice and soft. I will definitely come back here again.
One of the better tasting Grilled Octopus and Lamb Gyro Sandwich in Broward. Try also the Moussaka and the Saganaki Grilled Cheese. Most of the dishes are exquisite and the service is very good. A good option if you are in the mood for Greek food.
My wife and I have eaten at this place a few times. Not as many as we'd like due to it being in Hollywood and it is a bit of a drive. But each time we've always enjoyed it the food is great, really delicious. They a great atmosphere and ambiance. Nice small plate selection so you can order a few items and share, which is what we do. The grilled Octopus is really well done. I would also recommend the zucchini fries. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend this place.

I went there with my husband last night for a date night. The food and service was amazing. It's a small place but soooo worth the money. We will definitely be back.
My wife and I were in Greece a few months ago, and we were excited to try The Greek Joint.
We weren’t disappointed! The menu and ambience are very reminiscent of a modern Greek restaurant on Santorini or Mykonos.
We really enjoyed our visit. The food was good, the cocktails were great. I loved the spicy feta salad, which is not a ‘salad’, and the Masticka Lemonade,which is not ‘lemonade’!
I definitely recommend a visit if you enjoy actual Greek food, or are looking for a reminder of summer evenings spent in the Cyclades…

I cannot say enough good things about The Greek Joint! We thought of hosting my bridal shower here after visiting multiple times and being impressed by the food and atmosphere. Coming from a Greek family, we appreciate the authenticity of the dishes (like no lettuce in the Greek salad!) The waiters helping our party in particular were Alex and Greg but honestly the whole staff was so attentive and accommodating and stopped by our party to chat! Everyone was so friendly and I appreciated Jimmy answering all of my questions prior to the event via email and the phone.
All of the food was spectacular, our guests are still raving! From the dips to the salad to the meat, everything was fresh and seasoned and cooked to perfection. Guests who rarely eat eggplant were so impressed by the eggplant entree, the lamb which can be an acquired taste was enjoyed by all and I think every guest commented on how different and delicious the farro salad was! We chose to have sangria and not one was watered down and was amazing.
We had family come in from out of town for the shower and they cannot wait to be back to the wedding to go to The Greek Joint.

Visiting for a work trip and Google places to eat. One of the first was this place. Had Greek a lot, so the expectations were that it be decent and do the job. Well, the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us, took us to our table and took our order, and helped us with our choices. The bread and oil were very good. My wife loved the Octopus appetizer, and we have to say the mussels were the largest we've seen anywhere. It was amazing in that lemon butter sauce. I had the lemon chicken skewers. I asked for tzatziki sauce to help flavor the chicken, and that was unnecessary. It already had a juicy flavor, as was my wife's as was my wife's lamb chops....delicious! Thank you, Bianca, for putting up with my jokes. You were awesome! And to the staff who were excellent at assisting. The only thing not perfect were the wicker style chairs at the high top tables.
I e been here several times and always forget to review. It’s one of the places I enjoy on Hollywood Boulevard. I think it’s the colors that make me so peacefully happy. Then of course the lights and definitely the food. The customer service is always great. If visiting Hollywood Beach it’s a nice place to share some appetizers and drinks… and of course some great food.
I discovered this place 5 years ago on a girls trip and it has been a favorite ever since then . Over the weekend, I decided to take my family of 20 for my birthday lunch and it did not disappoint and is now a family favorite. I was attended to by Alex and we were so amazed by how quick the service was , drinks and food were great and came super quickly despite having such a large group. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Food is very good. Even though it is on Hollywood Blvd., the view from the patio is still nice. Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive.
Home style greek cooking , today we both had salads with chicken grilled chicken was perfectly cooked . salad. I chose was arugula and fig walnuts vinaigrette dressing all fresh ingredients with pita bread, and very large . The other was a Greek salad with feta cheese & tomatoes, large piece of feta cheese also a large salad, great value, a terrific waiter, and comfortable seating. Worth a try.
I was not disappointed. Had the lamb shank it was excellent. My server Alex was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Sat outside on a beautiful night, inside they have a nice looking bar and upscale l looking restaurant area. I thought the prices were pretty decent too for what I had. I will definitely be going back when in town again.
