Reviews Jack's Hollywood Diner

Wonderfully greasy beacon of Americana on federal highway. Jack’s Hollywood Diner focuses on the classics: big breakfasts, lunch staples, and milkshakes all served on aging boomerang patterned Formica tables. Their breakfast selection includes hearty omelettes, sweet creations, and standard 2-2-2 platters. I tried the ham steak, it was very filling and came along with some grilled pineapple. The hash browns were perfect. This isn’t a flashy place at all. It’s a quintessential diner that feels so familiar in the best roadside pit stop kind of way. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and searching for American dishes.

Stopped here and it is open 24 hours. Service was friendly and quick. Food is amazing and plentiful. Prices super reasonable for today and portions are good size. I had the Meatlovers omelet and my daughter had the Spanish Skillet!

Wholesome. Awesome food. Great service. 10/10 A great stop for some home style breakfast with servers you wish you had every time with your dining experience. Carolina is a doll and the best. We loved every minute of this place. We will come back every time we are in the area. Skillet? YES PLEASE! Omelets? Huge & delicious. Steak? Perfectly seasoned. Biscuits? I want 100. This place is no flare and just dang good food. Check it out!

Food was average and a little overpriced. You do get fairly large portions, although when it comes to food flavor, it was mediocre. I'm a little surprised there was not a kids menu. 😐

The place is like what you're going to Star Wars, where I'll be once looking about a loud door then that big monster sucker it has that on. Yes, it is cool, but the price is great too. And the service was excellent.

Food is very good. Price is reasonable like how it’s an old-school vibe. Only complaint I have is either servers running around with her head chopped off or she just disappears and I just don’t know what she’s doing and I sit waiting for a drink but overall everything is great.

Open 24 hours; serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with daily specials from 11am - 10pm. Upon entering, the place was already filled with customers enjoying their meals. I greeted one of the staff who told me to sit anywhere in the diner. While overlooking the menu, I noticed there were so many tasty dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable. I'm not big on eating out for breakfast, but when I do, my go-to is French toast. I ordered the Super French Toast - two thick slices of cinnamon flavored French toast (lightly dusted with powdered sugar) served with my choice of scrambled eggs and strips of bacon, and a glass of orange juice. The food was prepared nicely. Though it was filling, I managed to eat everything. The staff is pleasant and their service is on point with making sure things are to your liking or if you needed anything. Hopefully I can find the time to return and try other dishes. It will be very convenient to get something decent to eat on those days that I work late.

Stopped in while on vacation with my family. Breakfast was delicious. My French toast was perfectly made. Our server, Sharonda, was friendly and funny. We had a nice meal and will be back next time we’re in town.

There is nothing better than a late night dinner/breakfast at a “old school diner”. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like old friends. We were greeted and welcomed by more than two staff, given it was 3:00am the energy was like it was 12 noon. The place was truly a little gem. The food was delicious, nice portions and so fast. The waitress checked on us several times and other servers kept asking if we needed anything. At the end of our visit I was able to thank the chef behind the small opening for such a great meal and she was all smiles. I took a picture of the stack of receipts on the stick and mentioned how much I love this throw back no computers just simple conversations and servers saying hold the mustard, and cheese being spoken. Overall this is definitely a gem and worth checking out. It’s open 24 hours so no excuses….

The shrimp on the grits were not what I expected and ended up in the trash. The rest of the bowl was good... the staff was very friendly.

If you like diners, this is the place to go. Authentic diner - just like in the movies - with great food at very reasonable prices. The waitresses were very friendly and gave us the warm ‘you’re part of the family’ feeling. We had dinner there and liked it so much, we came back for breakfast the next day!

Wonderful and welcoming staff! They were attentive and thorough. Our food came out in a very timely manner and hit the spot perfectly. And the prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood again.

Good diner food. Slow night so took a minute for the waitress to get going. Hot chocolate food, grits, country fried steak and eggs not bad. Better than cracker barrel. The breakfast food seem good. Took tuna salad for lunch. It was good as well as chili. Not salty, seem home made. Potato salad and Cole slaw was like most delis. I think there are a few gems there so I will be working through the menu. Only a half mile from home.
