Update: Nov 2020 - visited again and food was fantastic and service was excellent. The outside socially distanced tables were full.
Original review: Perfect location right on the beach for awesome seafood. While snapper, steak, ceviche are all excellent. Service can be hot or cold.
This was my first time trying Peruvian food and I was a little unsure of what to order. I ended up getting some seafood pasta and my husband got a seafood fried rice. Both were very good.
This place was a little pricey and they make you pay for drink refills. Then when you get your bill they automatically add on a tip. I can understand why they do that and it didn’t bother me too much but I can see that it won’t sit well with everyone. Especially as service was very lacking at this place. Every time we needed something I had to flag down our waitress. She never once stopped to ask if we needed anything. This is a tiny restaurant and they weren’t even busy so that was really annoying.
I don’t regret eating there but I won’t go back.
We had a great time with the family. Amazing beach front views if you wish to sit Al Fresco. You should definitely try "Jalea De Pescado" "Papas a La Huancaina" and the "Tallarin Verde" a word of a caution that the Ceviche was a bit chewy but the flavor was on point. We will be coming back to this place.
Food was delicious and the staff was very nice. They added an 18% tip to our food. She would have gotten a much better tip without including it in our bill. Sorry but we won't be going back.
The food was DELICIOUS if overpriced. I ordered a Peruvian juice and loved it (ordering one is a must)! The grilled chicken breast plate was large but not worth $17. There was a singer that helped create a chill atmosphere. Beware: gratuity is included in the receipt already.
Most amazing lunch. I ordered pescado a lo macho which was recommended by our lovely waitress Stefania. Great view of the ocean also. Can’t top this amazing Peruvian restaurant.

If you are in Hollywood Beach, try this place. You won’t regret it. We loved the fried Red Snapper with the best quality and price for the area.

Beautiful beachside restaurant. Had ceviche tri (aji amarillo, classic lime, rocoto sauce). Fish tasted fresh. Pescado entero (whole fried grouper) was magical. Very tasty, ended up chewing on the tail and fins too.

CEVICHES ARE GREAT, THEIR PAPA A LA HUANCAINA TASTED GOOD AND THEIR RICES EVEN BETTER.
THEY HAVE A LARGE MENU AND THE PRICES ARE AVERAGE.
THEY ALSO HAVE “LUNCH SPECIALS “ which are decent size for a good price.
I really love to eat and I'm not super hard to please so I've been known to write a raving review out of flattery, but this is not one of those reviews. This restaurant deserves 100% of the praise based on the quality of the food alone. I had an expectation of what I wanted before I walked in and it was far exceeded. DELICIOUS the steak was so flavorful, the food came out hot and fresh, my friends rotisserie chicken (a dish I don't usually care for) was moist and seasoned to perfection!! My only critique is that the tip is pre added to your bill, had the service been bad, this would have annoyed me, but our server was great, she made great recommendations, we didn't wait for anything so, I truly can't complain. Don't think about eating here, EAT HERE! You'll be glad you did. I've had some good meals on Hollywood boardwalk but this has been the best. (If that ever changes, I'll edit this) so until then BEST TASTING MEAL ON HOLLYWOOD BOARDWALK!!
I had a wonderful experience at El Tayta! It doesn’t get any better than fried fish with an ocean view. We probably had a bit too much Pisco sour, but it was really well made😋. Congrats to the bartender and specially them Venezuelan waitresses for making our time there a great experience.
I landed at Fort Lauderdale airport only a few hours ago. After getting to my airbnb we came here because of the great reviews. Boy am I glad we did because every penny was worth it. The rice dish was phenomenal, the salmon was phenomenal, the breeze off the water was wonderful, and Estela was was kind, welcoming, and more than helpful. Our trip could not have started off better.

Food was delish and it was relaxing. Our server was so sweet. The chorus a la chalice were so good I forgot to take a picture. Sangria was perfect as well!

The food was gorgeous! The place was sooooo clean compared to other beach restaurants!!! I liked the way we were served and the drinks were great! If you are on Hollywood beach, this is the only worthy place to eat in.
Peruvian restaurant with great food right on the boardwalk. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff.
