Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant Longhorn. On "Mother's day"it was a quick 10 mts wait. The service is unmatched. Waitress Jorge The best! We didn't even ask for refills and there he was with the drinks. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely AMAZING – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Homestead. Highly recommend! We'll definitely come back soon!
Food was really good. Service was sort of off but they made effort. I have lived in Homestead for years and drive past LongHorn daily- after a not so great experience a few years ago I finally decided to give them another shot and I was pleased. The food was good, service could have been better but that's everywhere now a days. I'll defiantly visit again.
We had decent meals here. Sheree was our server and she was on top of everything and did a great job. My only complaint is that I ordered broccoli and it was overcooked. My sirloin wasn't as tender as I expected, but my wife said hers was fine. The salads were good, and come untossed so if you don't like a particular ingredient....tomatoes, cucumbers, etc, you can easily pick them out.
My wife and I ordered our food at the same time. My initial order came back over cooked but was handled well via the waitress and the manager (I ordered the porterhouse steak medium well). My wife ordered a chicken meal with a sweet potato (which was cold and never got a replacement for). Seeing that the waitress was so good along with the manager we chalked it up to just a simple mistake, overall the experience was good not great but they made use feel good about the entire situation.
At the initial check-in with the restaurant 3/4 empty at lunch time, my party of three were told we couldn't be seated because "the kitchen couldn't handle the volume of people!" What??? Us and two other groups wound up sitting at the bar in which we were served immediately. The bartender was great and so was the food! Overall pleasant experience but they could've sat all of us wherever and just offered us drinks if nothing else! Work on that! 😌
My husband and I absolutely love this place, this Longhorn location specifically. We've been to several others and this one keeps being our favorite one. The exquisite flavors, the beef tenderness, the food quality overall, the delicious bread, the atmosphere and service are well deserved of 5 stars rating. We can never get enough of it. Keep the same recipes, please do not change a thing!
Kent might be the best bartender I've ever met! The food there is amazing, the service is amazing I highly suggest going here for dinner! A lot better than the Olive garden that's next door.
