THIS IS NOT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT— it is South American. If you are coming here for a generic American style Mexican restaurant you will be disappointed. The cuisine here is AMAZING! The waitress recommended a soup that wasn’t on the menu and let me tell you that soup was a perfect compliment to the cold day outside!
I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and I have never been disappointed. The Paella is amazing as well and the portions are GENEROUS 💗💗💗💗💗
I've eaten 3 times now here, and I've order the Milanesa de Pollo, Lomo Saltado and Tallarines a la Huancaína, and I just have to say that the dishes at this place are amazing, their Peruvian cuisine is delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone hands down. The staff is also very friendly and a pro tip: try their passion fruit juice, it goes well with any of their dishes. A must visit when coming to Birmingham for me from now on.
Just ordered Mexican dinner with flan from GrubHub
Wasn't sure about what I would get
Very surprised quality taste reminded me of my aunts cooking ( little Mexican lady) great prices tasteful well packaged definitely found a good Mexican restaurant

First time for me - Husband works on this side of town and eats here regularly.
The restaurant is very clean and staff wears face masks for CoViD.
We were shown to our table and received a basket of chips and salsa when we ordered our drinks.
The menu is large, with many Peruvian/Latin inspired dishes. We chose to split the Papa Rellena con Polla, a mashed potato patty stuffed with seasoned chopped chicken and then deep fried - ($5). Absolutely delicious. Hot, crispy and not overly greasy. Will definitely order again.
For the entree, we chose Parrillada Latina, grilled steak, chicken, sausage, seasoned grilled vegetables, fried yuca, plantains, rice, & salad for 2 - ($24). It was served sizzling hot on a cast iron skillet. Wonderful presentation and plenty of food for the both of us. I highly recommend you give this a try.
I like that fact the menu has a lot of pictures of the different dishes, they actually look as the pictures when served.
I was expecting a more Peruvian restaurant and not much of a mixed with Mexican as it is.
The chicha morada (purple corn drink) was really good.
The server was nice and food was out in a short time.
This place is on top of my favorite places to eat from now on ☺️ The food is soooo good I’m impressed at how the food I would normally order at other Mexican restaurants is so much better quality at this place like seriously I would recommend if you want a great delicious Mexican meal this would be the place to eat at💯💕We literally ate our food so quick and their margaritas are top noch 🥴
Good Peruvian/Mexican food. Very good value. Friendly staff.
In an older shopping area. Safe parking. Recommended.
