Great atmosphere, loved watching dinners be made at the bar. Waiter recommended all food we ordered and was all amazing! Kimchi with egg appetizer, seafood and steak main course, as well as a pork pancake (buta tama) with mochi. All fabulous! A bit pricy - but Highly recommend. Sooo goood!!
The Okonomiyaki here is amazingly well done, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Theor bar menu is also very nice, and the Pina Coladas are delicious as well.
Seared ahi was a little too cooked but other than that, fantastic food! Matt the server was very friendly, helpful and has great taste in music.
The lunch menu is great. The food is delicious and the prices are actually a little bellow average for lunch in the area. The dinner prices seem a little high but haven't had dinner here so can't rate that. So far had their garlic chicken and teryaki chicken
Love this place! They treated us with kindness and even welcomed my service dog, most of the staff even came over and said hello to him. The food is super inexpensive and super amazing. Must haves are the green tea chew hi, miso soup and the udon of any kind. We had the pork, squid and shrimp yaki udon. Don't mind my spelling. To feed both my husband and I to the point of bursting it was 32 dollars and that was with 3 of the more expensive drinks on the menu. Super quiet and laid back. For sure a must stop place in Waikiki.
Delicious !!! It comes with sauce but I’m very simple so he said it was no problem to leave it off . 😃 Very friendly man that greeted me at the door & took my order over the phone !
Great dining experience. Big portions and good prices. The waiter was especially good.
Absolutely delicious! Very happy to have discovered this place.
We had the opportunity to sit right in front of the chefs, which was both entertaining and inspiring. We did not have a great time service-wise: the place was packed and we had to wait a long time for our food. Given we had to seen dishes being prepared for all the rest of the restaurant, this was a bit annoying.
The quality of the food was worth the wait: in a place where we had mostly less than average food, these well cooked servings did not have the annoying american touch of unlikely sauces.
Prices were extremely reasonable for the place, and we would have spent every evening in this restaurant if it wasn't for the little mishap with the service.
Fabulous dining experience. By far our best culinary experience whilst in Hawaii. Book and request to sit at the bar. Make sure you try the Sake and tofu! The chef was amazing and we left our ordering in his very capable hands. The seafood and red meat to die for.
Wow! So glad I found this place. Service was amazing... they explained the menu in detail and then followed up with some amazing and tantalizing food. I recommend sitting at the bar and interacting with the chefs while they cook up delicious masterpieces. this is no sushi place so explore the appetizers (try pork belly omelet appetizer). Appetizers are $7, entrees are like $14, and gourmet entrees (beef, lobster) is north of $25... very fair prices for such outstanding service and tasty food. Highly recommended.
Do not make the mistake of driving here. There are no parking at all besides the three metered parking spaces out in front. Thus we resorted to a take out order. Pricey but tasty. I would definitely want to try going here again... And of course without a car.
Very nice okonomiyaki and yakisoba. You never find this quality in mainland.
Okay, my friend suggested this place for dinner and I AM SO GLAD WE CAME! The meal, though not expeditiously served, was incredibly delicious. You can tell the chef puts time and effort into ensuring that it is just right.
I ordered Kinoko Yaki Udon and it was perfection.
I come here often for work and will, most certainly, be returning.
