My Family favorite ramen restaurant! Tantan ramen, shoyu ramen is very good here. Their charshu is so soft and tasty. I love how they can add mini curry to your ramen for cheap price.๐Ÿ‘ Free refill on soft drinks๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Have bathroom for customers ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

We came in 15 minutes before closing time. We were the last to leave. Coming in, we were treated with courtesy and respect and nobody through any hint of attitude our way because we had come in just before closing. Leaving, the staff was friendly and accommodating and let us finish our meal without pressuring us to leave and they were friendly on the way out. On top of this amazing service and respect, the food was amazing. I had the curry local moco where the Japanese curry is a replacement for the brown gravy. Brilliant and tasty and would do that again. My friend had the chicken Tan ramen - and they even replaced the noodles for him with extra veggies. I didn't have any of his food but it smelled great and he swore by its deliciousness. Great food and service that was impeccable. When I come back home in February I plan to visit this place again with my family.

One of our favorite spots in Waikiki! The ramen is 10/10 delicious. Fresh, large portions, and so much flavor! Weve gotten the pork belly a couple times and it's so tender it melts in your mouth. We also had the popcorn chicken as an appetizer which was deliciously seasoned, tender, and not overly cooked. Highly recommend this spot!

We came here our first night after a 10 hour flight just needing a hot meal that wouldn't take forever. It was out of this world and we ended up coming back again before we left. Don't sleep on the restaurants at the mall, there are some hidden gems! This one isn't even in the food court.

Goma Tei at Ala Moana is always on point. Last night was no exception. They were quick to seat us, take our orders, and then bring around our hot, flavorful, bowls of perfect noodles and tender veggies. Always on point. Thanks Goma Tei!

thereโ€™s no shortage of ramen joints in honolulu, to please all the diverse versions people love about ramen. its pointless to claim any as BEST in my opinion, so i will try to be objective. this place is clean, prompt service, and conveniently located at the mall. i had the tan tan, which is their unique twist. so instead of miso based broth, its seasame based, giving it a nutty umami flavor. i believe this seasame paste is popular in taiwanese cuisine so lets call this japanese taiwanese hybrid. its good, not Amazing. portions were pretty big so was satisfying. the pork was done well, and it really was meaty pork. overall, a good experience but not worth going out of your way to experience it. i think if shopping and noodle cravings hit you, can be a great option.

Broth was amazing. Fried wontons were crispy and delicious. I was on the island for a week and I ate here twice.

Awesome ramen. We love the Spicy Tan tan ramen and Char Siu Shoyu ramen. Generous portion, the meat is tender, broth is spot on, chewy noodle and good size. Popcorn chicken side dish is good, too. We will come back next time for sure.

There was a wait when we arrived. Not sure how long we waited, but minimum 20 minutes. Got in and the server was very accommodating. He made great menu suggestions. The dashi was good, yet some of the toppings not as impressive. Added the roasted garlic. Even with that large amount, I barely tasted it. Pork wasn't very flavorful either. That's the reason for the 4 and not 5 rating. All three of us enjoyed. All the boxes lined on the back wall was quite an eyesore so I'm glad we were moved to a table.

I know it sounds like an exaggeration but I got the best ramen I've ever eaten in my life at this place. Seriously, it was THAT good. Services was so fast, we basically sat down, immediately ordered, not even a minute later got our food, and paid our check and left soon after we finished eating. They were super friendly and effective as well! I wish I could fly back to Hawaii just to get more of that ramen.

My favorite ramen in Hawaii. Vegetable tan tan ramen and add char siu as sides. Best of both worlds! The broth is amazing. The char siu is the best. Itโ€™s thick pieces of satisfying delicious pork. The fried rice and gyoza here is also really good, too bad they donโ€™t offer combo deals. The truffle ramen is also great if you like mushrooms and truffle, but the broth is a light mushroom/truffle broth, not the thick super flavorful tan tan ramen broth. Tan tan is my favorite and truffle ramen is my second.

Great ramen shop in Hawaii. Truffle ramen was tasty and you will need to try it once in my view. Everything else was good but need to move the boxes by the wall.

The food was great! Husband got the tonkatsu curry plate and I got the grilled teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Both were delicious. Food came out quick, service was quick. We were in and out in less than 45mins.

The service was great with the servers being very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean inside and had a great feel, it didn't feel cramped and you could easily carry a conversation with fellow guests in our party. The menu provided many inciting options, the dish I chose was cooked well, it just lacked something. Expanding on the food a little, the pork belly was very tender, cooked really well, and tasted great. The noodles weren't to mushy, but were soft enough to easily chew. The broth was just "ok", it certainly wasn't terrible, it just lacked a bit of the flavor to make it all come together. It's certainly worth a shot as maybe we visited on an off night, there were also many other options which all looked great.
