Great sushi and flavors with very reasonable prices. Service was fast and friendly and extremely helpful with one of my party's dining needs. They are BYOB so you'll need to plan ahead or swing by the ABC Store next door. The sushi rolls were fresh and well made with great flavors and they had ample
Superb food and service! I thought I was in Japan when I was seated. I went to the restaurant 3 times within my 1-week stay. One of the dishes that really had the WOW factor was actually the fried udon! It looked rather bland, in fact pale, when it was served - not appealing at all. But wait till y
They served Very fresh sushi and sashimi- include generous portion of fresh med fatty blue fin tuna. Also grilled snapper, salmon and yellowtail collar bone. The yellowtail I had was very fresh, juicy and big enough for two people. All other traditional Japanese food was like my mom’s home cooking.
Stopped for lunch on a Monday and tried the raw fish bowl. Very nice variety of fish and decent portion of food. Hamachi and the salmon were my favorites. Would definitely come back again!
Came here twice during my stay in Waikiki. The sashimi is very fresh but most importantly the sushi rice was perfect. Each grain was well coated with the sweet rice vinegar and the chirashi don (Sashimi Bowl B) I ordered had a good balance between the various select sashimi. The ikura was a nice tou
The food was good, but the service was very slow and inattentive (too be nice). We were seated pretty quickly, but not waited on for at least 20 minutes. The couple who arrived 10 minutes after us had their order taken before us. Our food came about 10 minutes apart, so I watched others eat. The pri
Great location and the ramen here is awesome! Big bowl for 8$ only reason for 4 stars is because when we came in it took us 20 minutes to get served even a drink, and a couple who came in ten minutes later got served right away.
The most authentic Japanese food hat I had so far here, the lunch specials are very economical.
Good food overall fairly priced... It is BYOB so drop by the ABC store next door before you go to eat.
Amazing traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. If you want real sushi and fresh, this is the place to be!
Family owned authentic Japanese cuisine at down to earth prices. Great staff and cozy spot. The lunch special today was deep fried oysters, scallops, veggies and succulent pork. Ono to the Max! Oh, great BYOB policy!🤤🤤🤤🤤
Classic, simple, authentic, and affordable, home style Japanese cuisine with many options. Seems Japanese operated as well. Very surprised to see such affordable, and authentic Japanese in the area. Small business. A great little find. The closest you'll get to real home style Japanese food without
Some of the best Japanese food my husband and I have ever had. And we are from DFW, TX, which is a restaurant hub. We are Asian food lovers, and have tried several places in Honolulu on our trip. We’ve gone to this place twice so far, we liked it so much. The price is also a good value.
Miki was an excellent hostess and we received great customer service throughout our meal. The udon was not as tasty as some other restaurants in the area and was lacking some key ingredients; they also put the shrimp tempura directly in the soup and it was soggy in seconds before it reached the tabl
I immediately recognize the authenticity of this place. Lovely people all around, who knows very well what they are doing. It is simple, no nonsense style- something you want on the way from the beach(especially for lunch). Oh, and prices- they are actually the same as in Ala Moana Food court, where
Our first stop after getting settled into the hotel on Oahu. Excellent sushi menu, reasonably priced with good specials and a nice intimate setting. They were jammed for Christmas Eve and service was a bit slow, but still definitely worth it.
I love this place. Traditional Japanese. smaIt's small, but it looked like if your party was large you could make a reservation. Fairly priced as well , which is rare in that area. I'm vegetarian so cannot comment on fish, but I'm sure it's great judging by how crowded it gets.
