I liked the food the staff and the cocktails. The food was good portions, nicely put together, and very yummy with lots of flavor! The cocktails are also very well done. We had dinner there twice and both times each staff person was really great. Definitely recommend!
We stayed at an Air B n B right above this restaurant and had both dinner and breakfast at Shorefyre. The service both times was excellent and the food was delicious. I highly recommend going on Tuesday for their all day happy hour. We had excellent food from their happy hour menu. The breakfast portions were excellent and the food was well prepared. The restaurant is always busy but the service was always on point. Given the food, service and location, I'm surprised the rating for this restaurant isn't higher.
The wife and I had breakfast here this morning. The food was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with corned beef, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and cheese. It was very rich and fatty. I really enjoyed it because I hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours and didn't mind the high calorie intake. It could easily feed two people. Same for my wifes order of chicken and waffles. They definitely pile on the juicy fried chicken thighs. We forgot to get her name, but our server was very nice as well. We live on the island ,just around the corner. We will definitely be back.

We are visiting Hawaii for the first time for our anniversary. We wanted to celebrate somewhere with live music, good food and cocktails. We searched a number of restaurants and stumbled on this gem.
We weren’t expecting much based on the fine dining options around this establishment. We were pleasantly surprised. Service/staff was friendly and accommodating. The outdoor patio was a welcomed surprise. At first we thought it was too noisy, but our trepidation turned from skepticism to excitement. The band was amazing and after a few cocktails we took to dancing and enjoying the experience.
Food and drinks were amazing and our server was fantastic. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration a memorable one.

Larissa P. was a great server, she paid attention to detail, the food is incredible: amazing flavor, beautifully decorated with the local flowers, the hostess was welcoming, this is our second time visiting, I personally enjoy everything the music, the servers, the food and the fun atmosphere. We got to see surfers doing push-ups on the floor and working out those well defined muscles by the stairs, it’s fun to be around those strong youngsters. The only challenge is the parking however for the delicious flavor is totally worth it.
Excellent breakfast place! There wasn’t a wait like the first place we tried to go to. We’re glad we came here. The mochi pancakes stole the show! My husband enjoyed the Local Boy omelet. We both really liked the Portuguese sausage too! The service was great! We enjoyed the shady outdoor seating. Highly recommend this restaurant!
We found this place because of a guy holding up a sign advertising the restaurant. Pictures of the food looks yummy, we sure glad we give this restaurant a try. Service was excellent, Rayray our server was very pleasant and very charming. We ordered Kalbi steak salad and shorefyre fresh catch and it was delicious. Definitely come back again.
And oh I almost forgot, since we mentioned it to the hostess we were sent by the guy who was holding the sign, they gave us 15%off. 😁
As soon as we arrived to Hawaii I was looking for a place to grab some food long flight and long hours on air ha! We came across ShoreFyre on google, but on top of that my brother who is out there on deployment said this restaurant is good and had live music so of course that’s a win! :)
This restaurant is in a tourist area which is nice because throughout the night they have music playing around and other restaurants are still open at 9pm! After 10pm I believe this one turns into a mini club/lounge. We were able to sit outside on the deck and get some food ordered.
Michael who was our server was great, very friendly and recommended dishes to try! I went ahead and ordered a Moscow mule and Kalbi Steak Salad which was delicious. This salad brings juicy steak pieces and has a hint of Thai Lime Vinaigrette. This was a great combination.
My husband ordered the tacos, the Kalua Pork. He said they were very good, and the pork was very juicy.
Loved that the music wasn’t loud sitting outside, the music was perfect.
I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are visiting Hawaii.
Perfect Sunday Brunch, come between 11:00 and 11:30 to get best of breakfast and lunch menu and $5 mimosas. Small plates were great. Açaí bowl was amazing, pancakes were fluffy. The music set a very nice Hawaiian/Caribbean vibe.
Food and service was so good, we came back a second day. We had the very gourmet Loco Moco and chicken quesadilla, $5 mimosas, coconut mojitos for $8 during happy hour. The lanai is beautiful and has views of the beach and strip.
We came for drinks. The coconut mojito was fabulous! My hubby had the Hawaiian Mai Tai. He said it was better than the other area bars that have Mai Tai cocktails. Our bartender, Cooper, was a delight and very friendly. They have plenty of seating and a nice patio area, with a great view. Such a great atmosphere and I loved the music playing. Several televisions in the bar area as well. My only area of irritation is that they have a 3% BOH (back of house) fee, aka, kitchen fee. We did not even have food...only drinks. Management, pay your employees more. We decrease our overall tipping because of this.
Pancakes were great! We had macadamia nut pancakes (too sweet for me) and strawberry mochi pancakes (not sweet, loved the subtle sweetness)!
Omelette was good too.
You’ll love here, their food is delicious, it’s the best taste of food I had in Hawaii, their price is good and they are very nice and friendly.
highly highly highly recommended
Amazing place! Drinks were absolutely delicious especially the coconut mojito also the Mai Tai.
The food was scrumptious. Our group ordered the surf n turf, 59/50 loco moco, Caesar salad with avocado, 50/50 Frye Burger
ShoreFyre is a decent restaurant for breakfast that we found in Waikiki. We were looking at Yelp and the reviews swayed us. ShoreFyre doubles as a surf shop and restaurant which was confusing as first but hey do you.
The waitstaff did a great job of taking care of us and giving us great suggestions. I enjoyed the food but I wasn't overwhelmed with the flavor. The portions sizes were decent for the price.
ShoreFyre overall is decent but it wouldn't be on my list to go back. In my opinion there are better options so explore them.
We ended up coming here for a late night bite and we were pleasantly surprised. The tuna tasted fresh and the spicy mayo was kicking. We ended up coming back for breakfast and the pulled pork breakfast burrito was amazing. A little pricey but the service was quick and food was flavorful.
We ordered the Koa chicken with coconut rice & side salad. It was delicious! The chicken was giving teriyaki bbq just not as messy. The coconut rice had a good amount of coconut flavor, which for me was great & had some added sweetness. Almost dessert like. The side salad came with the house dressing, which was tasty as well. I would definitely recommend & would go back for more!
