I haven't been home in a long time but the minute I arrived, I went to zippys. I have been going to Zippy's since a little girl. The saimin brought back so many memories. The food is so good. I had saimin with the fried chicken and my husband has the trio plate. He loved it. The taste of Zippys bro
We had to visit Zippy’s because according to everyone including my Uber drivers it’s the local go to for comfort food. The variety makes this restaurant perfect for families and get togethers because it has a little everything for everyone. I ordered the Zip pac mini, small saimin, and mini Korean
First time trying Zippy's and glad we did. We both ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and it was delicious! It had a sweet and sour vibe to the chicken and we loved it. At Surf Pac for $18.12 with tax included at Zippy's Kapahulu. Two fried chicken, seasoned teriyaki beef, spam and rice. Quantity was good to fill an empty stomach and it as also tasty. Ate at the no table service section so no tipping required.
I ordered chili with cheese & onions plus cornbread through doordash. I first I though maybe there was too much rice & not quite enough chili, but the flavor was there. The cornbread was yummy.
I ordered a Loco Moco w a bowl of their chili. Both were fantastic and filling. Staff was friendly and helpful. I love Zippy’s and wish they would open one up near me in Danville, California!
Zippy’s Kapahulu is a much better kept location. The service is the same good service and the food is very good. Medium size parking lot and the interior is a fast casual eatery.
Cute little fast food place. We had the Bento Breakfast. What a good deal for the amount of food.
The food was great, it felt like I was in Hawaii, friendly folks. Service on the slow side but we were a party of 9. Will visit again next time I'm in Hawaii.
Their $7 bento boxes are great for a quick bite or a meal to take along with you.
Note: the boxes are on the smaller side.
Zippy's is a local favorite, especially for us on Kauai, we don't have one. Always a must stop when we go to Oahu.
The Korean fried chicken was some of the best I ever tasted! And you have to try the malasadas!
I heard Zippy's was a place that I had to try while in Hawaii and they didn't disappoint. I ordered the Fried Chicken plate (sauces on the side because I'm not a condiment lover). They only offer takeout or delivery so you won't be able to fully enjoy hot fried chicken unless you eat it outside as
All the locals told me to check out this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered the chili moco, loco moco, fried noodles, but my favorite thing about this place is the orange bang drink. Omg I could of drank la whole gallon. Can’t wait to visit Hawai’i again to come back to Zippy’s
The women who served us was wonderful. Now Zippy's takes pride on making your food upon requests know this , you have too have patients to wait for your food is fresh and hot! Aloha from Honolulu, Hawaii byways of Waikiki.
Great place to stop at and opens early and that was a plus for us. Food was good. Never had rice for breakfast but it was good.
