Food came out so fast, looked exactly like the picture and was delicious! The sauce was amazing it was my 1st time having kimchi and it was excellent! Can't wait to try again. Just make sure you bring cash! Worth every penny!
Always consistent food! We love kalbi, meat jun and mandoo. Their sauce is the best! Service is really good and the food comes out fast. There are only three booths, so plan on taking to go.

The first thing I do when I land in Hawaii is go to Soon’s, no matter where my hotel is at. It’s a delicious meal, consistent in quality and taste, at a good price.
My wife used to live in Oahu and she and the kids loved this place. It's all I heard about for 10 plus years. Finally got to sample it and all I can say is the hype was totally accurate. Amazing. Delicious. Fresh. A must stop in the Honolulu area !! Cash only.

Nice place for a fast korean meal. This place makes one of the best bbq beef sandwiches full of meat.
The only negative criticism i have of this eatery is that they only take cash for payment, somewhat of a hassle when you only have plastic.
A friend recommend that I leave the tourist spots and venture out. I ordered the BBQ 3 meats combo with chicken and beef. It was nice & tender. The location was nothing special, a few booths to eat on site, it's hidden behind the safeway. Great for take-out.

Excellent for take out of our local favorites. Every time we come home to O'ahu, we always stop by and get a couple of plate lunch each. Sometimes we eat in the car or take with us to the beach.

Delicious food. Outdoor seating in this little hole in the wall. Took a party pack on our flight back to the mainland. A lot of the prices are out of date online. Everything has pretty much doubled. Great food though. Loved the meat jun.
Man...this was one of my absolute favorite places when I was stationed here back in 85 - 88. I was so stoked to see it's still around, providing delicious Korean take out all these years later. I got the Saimin and the meat joon combo. So good!
