This IHOP in Waikiki was so delicious that I went back the very next day!!!! I ordered the "split decision." It comes with bacon, sausage, eggs(I requested scrambled well w/ cheese) , a half order of pancakes, and a half order of French Toast. If you can see the pictures, the plate is very full. The eggs were perfectly cooked and cheesy, the pancakes were fluffy, and my waiter was amazing. Making sure my cup stayed full of my desired beverage, he was very attentive.
As a must visit American chain I couldn't resist visiting while in Hawaii.
I was under the impression that IHOPs were open 24hours but this location closes at 9pm. Despite this, we were welcomed in at 8.45pm - it was nice that the kitchen was still open right up till closing time.
Our server was friendly and approachable. The food took some time to come out but I can understand that perhaps the kitchen had started to close up.
The food was just fine, portion sizes large. The side dish of mac and cheese was delicious and had a great cheesy flavour.
I would recommend IHOP while in Waikiki even if just for one meal.
Big ups!! to the staff member "Johnny" very helpful and awesome service. Food was FANTASTIC and IHOP was located just down the road from where we were situated.
So at the street entry door there is a sign telling you to enter via the exit in the hotel lobby. From there you walk over to where the street entry door is to be shown to a table. Maybe people didn’t like to queue in the street? Service was friendly, coffee was ugly but you soon understand that US coffee just tastes burnt. Eggs Benedict with bourbon and bacon jam was tasty and filling. $110 including tip for 4.
Best service I've had in a long time. Johnny was the bomb. Food was hot service was too tirr
This branch is right in front of the Courtyard by Marriot and is quite convenient and accessible to those who stay around the area. Their pancakes are still as good as ever and even though you just get the plain and basic pancake, they provide four types of syrup you can choose from. If you are indecisive, you can also order their sets and meals to get a taste of everything. They accept local and foreign credit cards.
Excellent service and excellent atmosphere. The pancakes were hot and the butter was nicely amazing just the way you like the butter nice and melted with lots of butter (-: Panhandled the money 7.00 dollars to eat all you can eat pancakes (-:
There was only one person on front of house staff the night I went in on the evening of 11/17/2023 and she did INCREDIBLY. The food was prompt, the drinks were filled and the food was great. She deserves a raise at the very least and the kitchen does as well.
Service was top notch. It's never crowded any time I've been here. Tell them Mike sent you.
Always a busy place, staff work hard and are very patient with impatient customers. Good food at a fair price. Excellent IHOP.
Always wanted to eat here (From the UK) and it was everything I hoped for.
The pancakes are everything you dream them to be, soft, indulgent, fluffy.
Definitely worth a visit!
You really can't miss with ihop, this spot has a problem that all restaurants on the island have, they're understaffed. The place is great and the staff is cool but it's hard not to notice that there's like 3 waiters/waitresses and orders are taking a while to be brought out.
I like the look and feel of this location. Hope it stays for a long time.
Yay! I hop to the IHOP! Sometimes simple pleasures are the best. Seeing a familiar and family favorite half way around the world put a smile on my face. Take care though, the entrance is a little hidden and has several steps to get in. My wife had pancakes which are always great and I had a traditional turkey dinner. I think my favorite thing was the comfort food served by a very friendly staff!
