Wow, what a great find! On our way to the airport decided to get some brunch and found this awesome spot. The chicken and waffles drew me in! Great crispy chicken with delicious waffles- and the serving was huge, definitely enough to share! Kid 1 got the banana pancakes stack of 3 (you choose 1, 3, or 5) She was only able to chomp 2. I took a bite, pancakes are so fluffy and just enough sweetness with the banana Kid 2 got the strawberry waffle, cute with all the whipped cream, definitely more than enough for a kid. Hubby had the French toast with sausage and eggs. Place was clean with plenty of tables around 11am, but soon after the line was out the door- many were to go orders. Warning, restrooms are in the complex across and cashier will give you the key to open. Overall, great food, generous servings, and happy family ready to board our flight back home 🤙

I've been on a waffle kick lately, so I searched on Yelp for breakfast spots for our day trip to Oahu. ATMOSPHERE: Located in a strip mall, light poured in from the oversized windows that look onto the parking lot. Seating was spacious and the inside clean & tidy but a bit chilly. Zero wait time which was surprising for a Saturday morning. PARKING: Free and plentiful. MENU: Pancakes, crepes, waffles, French toast, omelettes, benedicts & loco mocos. FOOD: Waffle Combo - $12.45 (menu stated $11.45) The combo also included two eggs and choice of meat in which I chose Portuguese sausage. The waffle was sizable, served hot off the iron with a crisp exterior, warm interior and that signature creamy batter aroma & taste. Sausages (2 thick slices) were flavorful with a slight sear. Eggs were perfectly over easy. SERVICE: Order and pay at the counter, take a numerical sign to place on your table for delivery. Female expeditor was friendly and professional. Food delivery was lightning quick. OVERALL: No-frills spot with good food, affordable prices and less crowds.

Big portions!! Don’t go if you’re not hungry. I had the mini breakfast deal. Order and sit. Everyone was friendly. Set in a strip mall. All the comforts of home.

Delicious breakfast food, I really enjoyed the link sausages as well as a huge plate of blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes. Super fluffy, we brought a few home that we snacked on for the next few days, so good!

OMG this place is amazing! I never really write reviews but I just HAD to! Huge proportions and utterly delicious, all at a more than fair price! Hands down the best delivery I have ever received. Would rate it higher if I could! If you are on the fence about where to get breakfast then this is the place to go!

I got the chicken and waffles and the fried oreos with a hot chocolate! Fried chicken was SO good and SO crispy, it was juicy as well, it also comes with your choice of gravy, either brown gravy or country gravy, I got the country gravy! The oreos and hot chocolate weren't all that but this place was still pretty bomb! I'd definitely go again.

Pancakes & Waffles was a nice surprise. The classic Eggs Benedict was just that: classic. The hollandaise was creamy and delicious, the potatoes crispy and flavorful even with simple salt and pepper seasoning. You can order at the counter or you can order via website from your table. The latter was convenient. I would come back for a classic diner breakfast experience.

Everything we tried was really good. Shout out to Hawaiian Traveler on youtube for the recommendation of eating here. The Kalbi Loco moco was amazing. The Honey Butter Galzed chicken and waffles was too. The Corn bread pancakes were good too.

I ordered the blueberry/chocolate chip short stack pancakes and had them delivered. The plate weighs about the same as a half gallon of milk. How was my order? The short answer is omg, wow, etc. So yes, definitely check it out especially when you have the munchies. But be prepared to pay for the quality/quantity. It’s worth the price you will be very 😋 after you eat.

We've been going to both locations during the years and while it took some time, waiting for the renovations to finish was totally worth it. The restaurant is now serving BLD is nice and clean and now has more seating capacity. Tried the cornbread waffles for the first time today. Nice and fluffy...the honey butter was a little on the salty side for me, but not to the point where it was overwhelming. Fast service and good food.

The best place in Kalihi for a well-priced and tasty breakfast. Highly recommend their fried chicken and waffles and their fried rice loco moco. I usually get the eggs Benedict but it’s not their best item on the menu. Make sure to leave a tip.

The best chicken and waffles ever. I really don't eat chicken & waffles often. But the fried chicken just looked so good, so I decided to give it a try, and it delivered. Absolutely crunchy and crispy and so savory and sweet at the same time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
