Scene here was way better than the overcrowded tourist vibe next door. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. Food hit the spot. Chicken and cheese combo plate and the seafood pancakes split between 2 was too much for us to finish. Took the pancakes back to our and munched the rest there. Happily

The seafood pancakes were tasty & the assorted Soondubu was very good, although a very small bowl.

I was craving Korean food and it was only an 8 minute walk from Hilton Waikiki so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised, it was very good and hit the spot!!! I didn’t expect it to taste like it does in LA or Korea so I wasn’t disappointed. My mom and I got there around 3pm for a late lunch. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who seated us and took our order. We were the only customers at the time which made me a little nervous but it was an odd time. My mom ordered the seafood soondubu and I ordered the kimchi soondubu (w/ pork). The waiter said that their soups were spicy so I had to ask, Korean spicy or Hawaiian spicy? He said Korean spicy so I got my mom the mild and I got the regular; both were good to our taste. I don’t think they use the silken (soft) soondubu they use in traditional restaurants, instead maybe a medium firm. I’m guessing it’s due to availability which is no biggie. The kimchi soondubu had large chunks of kimchi and pork whereas I’m used too seeing smaller pieces in soups, still tasted great! The kimchi was a bit overly fermented both in the soup and the banchan but again, it was still very good. When back in Waikiki I will definitely be back.

Decent food. Good portion size. A combo is enough for two people. Kimchi pancakes were super. You must order some. Beer tasted watered down. The reason I am certain of it is I buy it a lot for home. They have three beers on tap and I know them all well, so don't think it was a mixup with what was poured.

Walking around Waikiki and thought Korean Chimchee Soup, so I went in. Servers were so nice, attentive, and talkative. Food was really good and not a long wait..you can sit out on the deck to over look the street life, but I wanted my A/C, hahaha. A must try, oh and they do great BREAKFAST too.

This is a must go place when you visit Hawaii. The soup is incredible with lots of flavor and full of umami taste. I highly recommend galbi or BBQ pork with it. You can ask for more kimchi and other side dishes and they don't charge more. They give you like five side dishes and I thought that was crazy. Relatively very affordable considering how expensive these restaurants are in Waikiki. Definitely two thumbs up!

Perfect comfort food. Had to wait about 40 minutes (Xmas Eve) to be seated but it was worth it. Spice level was good, there's options for mild so it suits everyone.

Came on a week night. We weren’t sure where to eat and there were lines everywhere. Didn’t want to wait, and for some reason there were absolutely no lines here despite the place being packed with people. Very pleased with the food. Excellent Tofu! We both got Soondubu (tofu soup) and loved it. Both orders came with banchan (side dishes). Flavors were great and the service was quick!

Food was good but a bit on the oily. Service was great. We parked at International Market Place because we did not know where to park and the walk wasn’t too far.

Omg. Found this place by accident on my travels. I didn’t even know what soondubu was! I eat Korean food on a weekly basis back home, and this place opened my eyes to a new Korean dish. This delicious stew I fell in love with! My absolutely favorite is the beef soondubu jigae (beef stew) It’s sooo tasty! Eat with rice and the bon chon sides that come with it. It is a must try!
