All is perfect🤩 The only thing that needs to be improved is the grilled pork chop 🐷
Loved their creative ingredient mix and match that brought the customers with a new advantage of taste. Pappya - one of Hawaii's signatures, is a cherry top of several appetizers and salads, brings out the taste of the food with more layers of aroma and savory.
Many tempting cocktails I wanted to try them all 🍹🍸🍷
Every time I fly back to Honolulu, I definitely will go, but it's so hard to make a reservation.
This restaurant is my top pick for pasta! We started with fantastic oysters and tacos, and while the soup of the day was just okay, the drinks were excellent overall. We tried the drink of the day, a mint concoction that didn't meet our taste, but the waitress swiftly replaced it with another choice. Despite my usual go-to pasta being overly salty this time, it's still a dish I enjoy here.
The ambiance was delightful, creating a perfect setting for a sophisticated date night. The interior design added a unique touch. While the food was excellent, the bustling atmosphere could benefit from slightly improved service."
Stopped in for dinner and sat at the bar. Quick service! We had the Padron deep fried shishito peppers, Spanish tortilla, Crostini, and the Lobster Spaghetti. Simply the best, authentic Spanish food I’ve had on island.
It was such a beautiful experience at the end of our trip. Everything was delicious, and the dessert was a highlight. Absolutely recommend.
I probably should have written this review a long time ago, since I've been to Rigo at least a dozen times... But this last time just made me realize how great this place is. The food is so consistently delicious and well prepared, and the staff is so nice. We always enjoy our meals, whether it's pizza, pasta, tapas, salads, soup, etc... it's all just so good. And the prices are reasonable (check out the wine bottle favorites that are delicious values)!
Rigo, thank you and please keep it up! We love your food and your staff and come from the east side almost every month to join you for dinner! Thanks for being a gem of Honolulu!
Amazing tapas and pizza. My favorite tapas restaurant on Oahu. Excellent quality and excellent value. This is a chain from Japan. They have excellent wine deals here. But what really stand out here is the tapas. Pasta is good too but I would recommend tapas if given a choice, as it’s exceptional. I love the waiters and waitresses here. They always provide excellent service here with a smile and they are quick! Valet parking onsite or …discreetly at Safeway across the street :)
The quality of the Spanish and Italian tapa cuisine of this restaurant comes from the sauces. The gambas al ajillo (shrimp) provided a tasty dipping sauce for the whole meal. The calamari was crusty and flavorful while the pincho de pez espada (swordfish) were delicious and unique. Not coming up to the quality of those dishes was the hongos al ajillo (mushrooms), which were heavily boiled, salty, without much taste.
Came here to get away from Waikiki during my visit and I’m so glad I did! The food and drinks were all so refreshing. Nalu and Marina were amazing as well. I’d recommend Rigo for anyone looking for a nice dinner night
Delicious food. The best Carbonara I have ever had. Friendly staff and they accepted special requests for my beautiful girlfriend’s birthday ! Will come back again and again.
This is our second time with my family. We all love this restaurant. Highly recommended! Hope they will open one in west side of the island so we don’t have to drive so far lol.
Excellent all around. Nice selection of drinks. Tasty shareable small plates. We shared the Crostini, Melanzane, and Garlic Parmesan Bread. A variety of entrees to satisfy all. We had the Catch of the Day & Scallops, Arrabiata, Chicken Cacciattore, and Chicken Picatta. For dessert, we had Affogato and shared the Crema Catalano. All were delicious.
Came here for my birthday dinner. Like everyone mentioned, the tapas were amazing and I highly recommend those. We had the seafood paella and a pizza. The cold pasta was delicious and different. Also the service was incredible. Our server was incredibly nice and gave great recommendations.
9 of us came here for a friend's bday. Ordered a bunch of food and everything was delicious. Atmosphere of the room is very relaxing, service and food were great. The pasta were cooked very well, and it was tough to really pick out a favorite dish. Everything we ordered I would order again.
A hidden haven on Kapahulu.
No view. Limited parking.
Small portions but delightful all around.
Rich flavors, nice wine selection, and clean, comfy, and cozy ambiance.
Paella regardless of which one you choose is so tasty and good for one hungry person. Paella negra lured me to this place. It did not disappoint.
The banana cheesecake with the almond crisp is unmatched! You can’t find this anywhere. So have it for dessert.
Thank you Jakob for your remarkable service!
I’ll be dreaming of my next visit while back on the mainland. My new fave restaurant on Oahu.💕
Whether you have a birthday, anniversary or just taking your Love ones, must try RiGO. They didn't disappoint me yet. And everyone is always helpful. I recommend RiGo anytime.
Excellent food, impressive interior and nice service! This Spanish restaurant is a real find!
All our dishes was flavorful and delicious. We started with Ajillo and Garlic Parmesan Bread. The bread was crispy, fragrant and tasty. Red King Crab & Jumbo Shrimp Paella was delicious, a lot of seafood and crab meat. Desserts were very-very tasty. Try definitely Chocolate Cassata it is so chocolate, nice texture, and caramel nuts tastes well with it. And Panna Cotta was very very delicate, creamy and moderately sweet, the berries add a pleasant acidity to it.
Best is our servers. First time trying it’s during the lunch time. Menu is different from dinner time.
I will go for dinner time next time.
But. Less customers during the lunch hours are nice.
Rigo is a fantastic respite, if you are looking for a break from Hawaiian food while visiting Waikiki. Everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend coming with a large group so you can sample more from the menu.
My personal favorites were the Paella Negra and Vongole.
We stuck to mostly appetizers and didn't try any of the main dish meats.
They had a great $30 wine menu. And overall prices are very reasonable!
