Amazing food! Traditional and local, tasty and healthy! And the portions are very satisfying. I had a delicious full-day meal (rice + laulau + kalua + lomi salmon) for a very good price. Highly recommended!

Delicious. Enjoyed pork lau lau with poi, rice, fern salad and cold drip coffee. Eating local makes all the difference. Mahalo!! Farm to Fork! 🍴

Many ingredients are very high quality, but more care needs to be put in preparing them. The overall food is only so-so, which is a shame given the ingredient quality, at least on the day we visited the place. For example, the salad was slightly wilted, my plate missed ingredients my partner had, but most importantly, the cooking level wasn't right for my burger, the assembly wasn't careful, customers seemed to walk into the food preparation area---overall the food wasn't prepared with the level of care you expect from even an ordinary chef. I would have rated it more like 3 or 3.5 stars, but there is immense potential here and we must support this local store. But at the same time, the store must train its people better and incorporate stricter hygiene and service standards.

Their menu is smaller than it used to be, and they often run out of menu items, especially the LauLau, which is frustrating, since they don't have that many choices to begin with. This place is empty most of the time, and when they do get more busy the servers don't seem to be able to handle it. Because they often do not get that many customers, their rice and sides can taste not fresh by the evening. Having said that, their LauLau is delicious, and they're probably only place nearby where you can taste authentic Hawaiian food. Their ingredients are all local and wholesome, and their regular portions are generous. I would go back again, but probably not everyday. I recommend their fern salad; it tastes pretty unique.

Onolicious! Stopped in for a late lunch with the keiki. My oldest had vegan curry with taro chips and taro hummus, while I had a regular plate with kailua pork, beef stew, potato salad, and brown rice. It was all delicious, and the taro hummus was super smooth. We topped it off with haupia, which was included with our meals and delicious. 😍🤩 The owner was super nice, and we walked with enough leftovers for each of us to have a second meal.

Two days ago we had a burger and a laulau, both were excellent. I had salad instead of rice. Today is burger and kalua pork. The taro chips are tasty. We fought over the lilikoi dressing. The papaya seed dressing has a mustard finish.

This place is fantastic! The food is delicious- some of the best pua'a and laulau I've had. The owners were also SO lovely and helpful. They gave our keiki a little treat and were full of aloha. Definitely recommend visiting (and making it a regular stop!)
