Although I left NY when I was 5 years old, I know good NY-style pizza. My parents taught us how to find the best no matter where we lived. I’ve been in the Hoover area for about 10 years now, and Salvatore’s is my go-to! The calzones are delicious too. 👌🏻

This was our first visit. We weren't expecting to be blown away like we were. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and it tasted amazing. It was robust, hearty, and full of flavor. Rude lady! Waited for order and lots of people being served. Inquired about our food and she was so rude. Relying that there was two orders ahead, I ask for refund. She declined! Food was not prepped and she refused to accommodate. Not good CS! Will not be back.

We tried the pizza and weren't impressed. But the pasta dishes are great. They give you plenty of food. Plus the service is fast.

This is my absolute favorite pizza place! This one and the one on HWY 280. It’s so obviously real Italian. The quality is amazing. You won’t regret it anything you order.
