My favorite BBQ joint in town! Always great! To be honest; yes, I did have a couple problems (but hey it’s still a newer restaurant they are still learning.) but when i did have an issue the whole staff was so willing to make it right and fix the issue. Always a great time, super entertaining and exciting to see a non-chain come to town! This place is amazing and I can’t wait to see what else they bring in for me to eat.
Oh also the cheese cake is honestly the best cheese cake I have ever eaten in my life. Please do you a favor and go eat it.
I have eaten here multiple times and I have never had a bad meal Andrew the owner is very visible and that spoke volumes to me. I know that there are some mixed reviews below and I’m sure some are valid concerns but what I will say is I have yet to see the owner unwilling to correct a mistake. This place is a MUST try
We went for dinner on Memorial Day and the food was terrific!!! The brisket was mouth watering and potato and macaroni salad was really good! On top of that....my husband is a vet and got a 50% discount!!!! Thank you for supporting our vets!

The food was awesome!! Potato salad was on point, its just how my mom makes it. The portions are really good for the price. The pulled pork was amazing�. My family loved it. We will def be going there alot.

Every single time I go to Sample This, my day is made. I'm so glad I found out about this restaurant and the people that own it. Not only is it a 5 star place to eat but I know the Samples personally and they are amazing people. Thankful for Sample This BBQ.
We moved from Texas less than 1yr ago and was missing TX BBQ. We were skeptical about it being true TX BBQ but saw the segment on the news about Drew and we tried it yesterday. I am happy to say it was truly delicious Texas BBQ. Even in TX, I couldn't find tender and moist Brisket. The ribs were perfect, the bbq sauce on the side were very tasty. Not the thick sugary kind of bbq sauce but sweet and tangy, just yummy! The sides were very generous. But would have loved some greens and corn to go with the meats.

I went to this restaurant when it first opened and I was really not impressed, but I understood that because they had just opened they needed to work some things out. I decided to give them another try and I am glad that I did. They had a suggestion box on the counter and they definitely have made some changes for the better! I have tried most everything on the menu and am a real fan of the Brisket Potatoes, there is nothing else around like it. They have recently added new desserts and changed their macaroni and cheese recipe so it is much more flavorful. I took a family of four to dinner there and ordered the 3 meat platter and an order of ribs. None of us left hungry, but I do wish they would put eggs in their macaroni salad. If you tried this place early on when they first opened, please be fair and give them another try, you won't be sorry. I would hate to see another business around here go under. They have trivia nights, a eating challenge, and are always running some sort of special. As for the man who complained that their was no alcohol, well they did that on purpose, it is meant to be a family restaurant!
This place is the real deal!!! Family style bbq deliciousness. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and the smoked chicken. Meats were perfection! The green beans were peppery and just right. The cole slaw was homemade and was excellent. We will definitely go back when we return to the area.
Food was very, very tasty. Fair prices and large portions. It wasn't super warm food, but I don't think food like this should be super hot (think family picnic). Owners and staff are VERY friendly and amazing people. Bear with them as they are learning.
BBQ was awesome. Not a big fan of the"family style " way they serve people sitting at the same table. Shared my food with strangers in our motorcycle ride.
Our first time there but it won't be our last. We did takeout. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and the ribs were excellent.
I met the owner personally. Very nice, goes to my church, (His Tabernacle). Very homey, comfy place. Waitstaff very nice and serving attitude.
Great service. Food was excellent. Menu is compact and easy to choose from. Portions are crazy bit and sides are unlimited.
