This restaurant will be well received. Red Oak has needed a place like this. The food is good comfort foods. The fried fish and chicken strips combo with homemade french fries and pinto beans was excellent. We also had the 12hr brisket, which doesn't even need a knife. It was wonderful. The service was great and we were greated with smiling faces and positive attitudes. This place will only get better, as it has only been opened one day. I recommend giving it a try. The food and the prices will keep you coming back.
So excited to see this place open up! I had a combo plate with pulled pork and hand rubbed brisket, Mac n cheese and baked beans. My wife had the loaded bake potato. Everything was awesome. They even had 3 varieties of bbq sauce to try. Place was very clean and staff was attentive and courteous. Highly recommend you check this place out.
Went to eat there tonight and I was PLEASANTLY surprised! The staff was warm and friendly and the place was so cleannnn. The food is NOT from Costco! I had the blackened catfish which was perfectly seasoned. The potato salad was made IN HOUSE and the hush puppies- excuse me but they’re made from scratch and I could have eaten a bucket full. Also shared the amazing carrot cake which was perfect and NOT dry. My friends plates were equally amazing. The REAL mashed potatoes and hand battered chicken tenders were so good. I didn’t taste everyone’s food but there were no complaints and I can’t wait to go back!
Wow...if you have not tried this place, you must! Food was excellent & super friendly people! I had the brisket, grilled shrimp, brisket mac & cheese & fries...oh my!! Definitely will be back!

We’ve eaten here twice in one week because it’s so good!! We’ve had lots of different things and they’ve all been amazing! I’m really picky about chicken tenders and theirs are hands down the best I’ve ever had!
Wow best catfish I’ve ever had! It’s perfectly seasoned, very crispy, white flaky meat. Good hush puppies. Met the owner and he’s super friendly. I will definitely go back!
I had the brisket nachos and they were incredible. Kids had chicken tenders and fries and those were great as well. Can’t wait to eat there again.
Literally haven’t had anything bad here!! There’s a reason why this place stays busy! Give them a chance and you won’t be disappointed!

I stopped there with some friends who live local. I had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich. It was so good, the combination for the smoked brisket with the white cheese on toasted bread was amazing. My.one friend ordered the catfish which he said was very tasty but just a little dry. Our server was great, she offered to take the fish back. The sweet tea made the meal complete. When I'm in Hot Springs again. I will stop back in and try more of the menu .

Discovered this place totally by accident when we were going to Anthony Chapel for a planning appointment since it is the venue where my son & daughter want to get married later this year. We were running early for that appointment so we stopped in the Red Oak Fillin' Station for a cup of coffee thinking it was a gas station & store (guess we weren't paying close enough attention to the signs when we pulled up). When we walked in we were surprised that it was a restaurant that welcomed us with the warm hickory/hardwood smell of BBQ. It was the tail end of the lunch hour so it was not too busy so we were seated immediately and enjoyed our coffee but the more we smelled the BBQ the more we knew we would be coming back after the appointment. We returned with a Party of 6 and we all ordered BBQ. I got the Sampler Platter with Ribs, Brisket, Chopped Pork, & Sausage. We are all from Memphis area so it is sometimes hard to impress us with BBQ outside our hometown, but we all agreed the Ribs were fall off the bone fantastic, the Brisket was fantastic, the Chopped Pork was just as good as home, and the Sausage was good (but I didn't think it was anything extra special). Only negative to the whole BBQ experience would have to be the BBQ Sauce options which were okay but nothing to write home about. However, the Brisket Mac n' Cheese is something to write home about as it is something I have never seen/had before and it is nothing short of fantastic...absolutely fantastic!! We ended the meal sharing a few pieces of Cheesecake and each one was delicious (though I cannot remember now what the flavors were). All in all, this was a 5-Star Meal in a very comfortable setting in what I could best describe as a Hunting Lodge. Staff was great and friendly & attentive which always makes a dining experience better. So glad we found this Hidden Gem and will definitely be back the next time we are in Hot Springs, AR!!
Excellent experience after seeing the lights at the Gardens. We had 17 people in our group and they were fast and good. I’ll be back.
We ate here twice during our 5 month stay in hot springs and wished we had found it sooner. Hubby heard about it at the barber shop and the workers at the hardware store down the road raved about it. The brisket and ribs were delicious. I decided this was the place to go for my birthday because the Italian cream cake was to die for and just so happened the special that night was all you can eat fried, grilled or boiled shrimp and there was no problem requesting the shrimp cooked differently when they brought out more. We had the same sweet waitress both visits.
Good food nice people and good atmosphere. Friendly waitress. Every thing seem fresh, especially the coleslaw. I liked the decorations and stuffed deer placed in a country seen.
Great food! We both got catfish with brisket mac & cheese, cole slaw, hush puppies, and a drink and it was amazing! Called ahead and picked it up at the window - safe and convenient!
