5 stars more like 10. The best breakfast I have ever had. The owners and their kids were the nicest people ever. The food is wonderful, homemade and delicious. Not only do they have amazing food but they sell homemade pickles, salsa, jam, honey, baked goods and spices. By far the coolest and most delicious diner I have ever been to.

Amazing home cooked meals! Everything was absolutely delicious. Totally worth a stop there. You can grab cookies, zucchini bread and other treats to go as well as an assortment of jams and pickled goodies.

Awesome Home style country cooked breakfast and sandwiches. I had an omelette stuffed with sausage and fresh veggies, My wife had a BLT and soup of the day. It was a huge portion and we'll worth the price. Fresh baked sourdough bread. 😲

It’s just outside of town, but worth the few minutes to get there. The food was fantastic, will definitely satisfy any craving you have for that down home, “just like mama’s” kind of cooking. Breakfast all day, homemade bread, locally grown and raised foods and meats - there’s no way to go wrong - everything was YUM!

I've been driving across the country and back again, and in 6000mi this may be the best meal I've had. Arriving, it looks very... quaint. More like a country store. But go in (the door sticks), and the menu's on a chalkboard next to the register non-ironically. Next to my table was a list of where specifically they source their ingredients. Started with fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes almost fresh to a fault: they were so juicy I had trouble cutting them to eat. Great flavor though, seasoned breading, and the remoulade complimented them well. Had a country fried steak. The steak was cooked to a medium instead of the usual well-done or over, making it very tender. Gravy was creamy and buttery. Fries were decent, wild rice tasted great and was cooked perfectly, and of course the bread was out of this world. I got an extra side of shrimp, which tasted very fresh and were seasoned just enough to enhance the flavor of shrimp without overpowering them. The apple crisp pie for dessert was slightly underwhelming, but it was a bit too tart for me. If you're within an hour or two drive, you should come here.

Amazing food and amazing staff!! My husband and I really enjoyed everything from the food, the staff, the atmosphere, & all the homemade things! We are visiting from Texas and would definitely come back to SD just to enjoy this place again!

We were looking for someplace to eat on our final night in the area. This popped up and we decided to try it based on all the good reviews. NO REGRETS. This is fantastic! Unassuming exterior, cute interior, and the food - perfect. We got a variety of meals and each was delicious. Definitely recommend.
