The pace is a little slow here. The atmosphere is cozy overlooking the water. The food is comfort like and cooked to enjoy.

Melvins is a restaurant that i enjoy going to for a lovely place and good food. The service is always very nice. I had the oyster spaghetti and my husband had the chicken Alfredo. They weren't skimpy on the oysters.

Been here before. We had the lunch special. Shrimp pasta salad. Only had exactly was it said shrimp and pasta. Kind of bland. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were great!!! I had the corn and shrimp bisque, the veal maison, and the white chocolate bread pudding! I recommend all of them!!!! Amazing!!!

Me and my husband booked our reception at Melvins and when we booked we put down a deposit. Throughout the wedding planning we offered to pay Melvin ahead of time and he would tell us not to pay him until after the wedding as he would do a head count and charge us accordingly. So we paid the deposit
