This place keeps us coming back for more. Consistently amazing food. We have dined at this restaurant numerous times especially for special occasions. It’s a fancy restaurant and has a nice ambience. The last time we’re there for my birthday dinner. I received a birthday card signed by the GM. It was a very nice gesture which I appreciated very much. As usual, it was another enjoyable dining experience. The fluffy pull apart bread, the tender fried calamari, the succulent steaks and the warm delicate vanilla cake were all delicious. Service is timely and reliable. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Fully recommended!

I went to Steak 48 for a friend's birthday celebration, and it was an outstanding experience. The ambiance was elegant and perfect for a special occasion. Steak48 is an absolute gem, deserving every bit of a 5-star rating! This was my 4th visit to the restaurant, and let me tell you, the 4-hour drive is absolutely worth it. The whipped praline sweet potatoes alone are reason enough to return, and I can’t get enough of them. But it’s not just the sides; every item on the menu is a culinary masterpiece.
The seared Tuna is a revelation - make sure to ask for it a little longer than recommended, and it will blow your mind. The sea bass is incredibly flavorful and a testament to the chef’s skill. What sets Steak48 apart is the remarkable seasoning and flavor in every dish. I’ve been to many fine restaurants where I’ve had to request salt and pepper, but here, it’s a perfect symphony of taste.
In my opinion, Steak48 should be considered for the Michelin Guide, an honor well-deserved for their culinary excellence. This restaurant is a true standout, and I can’t wait for my 5th visit! Make sure to book your reservations; it’s always packed for a reason.
First time coming in to have dinner with friends for my birthday and the experience was phenomenal. Mark was the waiter and his suggestions were legit and very knowledgeable in regards to the entire menu, kudos to those in charge of training. Best steak ever!! We ordered the Signature KC with the crab and shrimp mashed potatoes, shishake peppers the fried chicken lobster tails, roasted beet salad, extra king king crab leg with butter and the spicy shrimp. To top the entire experience we had fresh cooked cookies to end this amazing dinner. Be prepared to pay for this meal but definitely worth every Penny. The ambiance is very sultry, dim romantic lighting and it has a wine cellar feel. They also have some guest walk through the secret back door which is the hallway where the kitchen is and you get to see them creating your meal. Overall a great experience and the flavors are EVERYTHING !
The food was delicious! Our waitress was great at recommending off the menu items. Love the detail in the food and the quickness of the delivery of food. Definitely coming back!
We recently went to Steak48 for our first time for a birthday celebration and we will be back! The service was great and topped off with a personalized birthday card. Our waitress was well informed of the menu and specials and everything she recommended was great.
The steaks were delicious, the bone in fillet was one of the best we have ever had. Sides, apps, dessert were all amazing as well.
Great service and food. A must eat is the deviled shrimp eggs ( pictured) & corn creme brûlée (not pictured). Dessert the red velvet bread pudding is delicious. Valet service on Saturday was $10. Friendly quick service.

FOOD: I do give this restaurant a 5 out of 5. The food is great, everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection. We got crab cakes, cheese potatoes, and 45 dry age steak. We also got a FREE Key Lime pie for our anniversary!!! We were not expecting it. We were so grateful for their kindness. We also got complimentary cookies, they were delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give them 5 stars because it was worth every penny.
Service: EVERYONE is kind and polite. From the valet parking individuals, to the individuals that deliver your food and clean up after you. Everyone plays an important role and it shows on how they treat their customers. The level of their training shows. We were extremely grateful when they accommodated us to a more private table. Hubby and I like to exchange anniversary cards and read them to each other 🥰 lol overall I give them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lastly, please read the restaurant rules. No outside food and there is a dress code. Some people get upset when they are told about the rules.
We just went here for my husbands birthday and have nothing but amazing things to say! First off, the atmosphere is perfect for date night! Loved the bar area downstairs. The service was outstanding. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Lastly, the food was amazing!! My husband had the ribeye and I had the filet. We would 10000% recommend and plan to come back!
Steak 48 knows what they’re doing. This was probably my 5th or 6th time here. Meat is flavorful and well cooked, service is always great. You get what you pay for here. I tried the meatloaf this time and it was incredible with the sauce pairing. Dessert is stellar! We got the vanilla cake and the red velvet bread pudding. I could eat them every day
Ended with an awesome, awesome experience!! First seated on first floor table for two that was so small and close to others it made me claustrophobic. The hostess offered to take me upstairs to view a larger table and it was perfect! I wanted to get the crab cakes however I was reminded I’m at a steakhouse lol I’m not a big steak person anymore so I ordered the petit filet mignon, Brussel sprouts were good and my date’s food. He ordered shrimp along with his steak and baked potato. I didn’t finish my steak so I let him take it home…I later regretted it lol My phone was taken during dinner so no pictures of the food! We had a great time!
I enjoyed my birthday dinner with my lovely parents at Steak 48! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful! The reservation time was at 5 pm, but arrived a bit earlier and they seated us right away. Additionally, the atmosphere was great and everyone treated us with kindness and made us feel comfortable. Our waiter, Jessy was phenomenal and recommended great dishes and drinks! I recommend trying the Ribeye steak and NY Strip as the meat was tender, juicy, and soft. As for dessert, the vanilla and caramel cake was extremely delightful and sweet. Overall, I definitely would make a future reservation here due to our wonderful experience and would like to thank once again the staff for great service!
Best steak I have had! My husband and I split the ribeye and it was so good! I like my steak medium well and it still was juicy and tender. We also ordered the gratin patatoes and they were also delicious! They had an artichoke taste (I’m not sure if I’m that was just me or they do contain artichokes) and to me that’s was the perfect combination. The Brussel sprouts were not the best I’ve had but were still very good, would probably switch out my vegetables next time I go. The waiter recommended the superfood salad and it was also excellent just a little sweet not overpowering.
I also want to say the service is excellent! Props to the waitresses, chefs and servers for making and excellent team. I felt so welcomed! Not an experience you get all the time when you are dressed down like I was at the moment.

Oh my goodness! Come hungry and plan to spend some serious money. This is a high end classy place. Wine prices start at $185 and run up into the thousands. Craycray! But everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend the mango habanero cocktail and of course, the ribeye. The power foods salad was delicious as well as the truffle fries. And the red velvet cake was literally to die for! OMG! We will come back but we will need to save up some money first 😂
The entire dining experience was perfection. Service, atmosphere, drinks & of course the meal, all lived up to its great reputation. I had the Bone in Ribeye enhanced with crab cake “oscar”. (Chef’s kiss💋) Sides: mashed potatoes & sweet corn. Cocktail: Stone Fruit Martini (delicious) Dessert: warm vanilla caramel cake(sooo good) lol I finished every bite. Looking forward to trying other Steak 48 locations. Definitely returning to this Houston location in the near future.
