My great-grandfather brought the family here from Beirut in 1902. After his wife died in the 1920’s my grandmother quit school to handle the household. All the time I was growing up in the ‘50s and ‘60’s and into my college years in the ‘70s, she cooked wonderful Lebanese food for me and the family. Nothing I have ever had In a restaurant compared with food from her kitchen. Yes, I’m a very tough sell when it comes to a Meditteranean/Lebanese restaurant. Only Fadi’s has ever come close to Nana’s home cooking. This food must be very fresh with many dominant flavors. The Kibbe needs to be rather soft yet firm and give an immediate flavor with or without the Labyn. Tabboulih needs to be especially tart. Baba Ganoush needs to have that special eggplant texture and flavor. Jasmine rice needs a delicate flavor. Stuffed grape leaves should have a lemon-tartness to them and be thickly rolled. The baklava should be layered in the flaky dough and have that special nutty texture and flavor with every bite. The cooks cannot make shortcuts or fake it.. I’ll spot them. Fadi’s cooks know exactly how to prepare and serve this very specific food. Everything I’ve mentioned is prepared perfectly at Fadi’s. Kibbe is fried or baked as it is ordered, making it the freshest it could be. They bring it to your table. The several kinds of hummus tempts you first, along with their home-baked pita bread. There are almost too many salads to choose from easily. Their meat (lamb especially) are covered in sumptuous gravies. Rice is in mounds. This is the best I have ever tasted outside of my gramdmother’s kitchen. It is not unusual for me and my wife (who has expertly learned all of the recipes) to make the almost 200 mile round trip to eat lunch at Fadi’s. The portions are so big that we always bring a lot of food home with us. This surprising restaurant was recommended years ago by a Lebanese doctor of mine in the med center. Fadi’s has never let me down.

This is one of my favorite places to eat out! I was introduced to the spicy hummus by my niece & have been hooked every since. The roast beef & hot fluffy pitas are my 2nd & 3rd loves respectively! They both melt in your mouth. The staff is always courteous to me when I arrive. The selection is monumental! Cabbage salad, grilled eggplant, garlic broccoli, gyro, kabobs, rice with lentils..... the list goes on! It's all wonderful! The atmosphere, even when it's busy, is soothing & relaxing. Just a nice place for a leisurely meal. Family friendly! Go & enjoy.

I have been going to Fadi's for many years; and I do all my catering through them. If i lived across the street, i would be eating there daily. The food is just amazing; but even more, the great people who run the place are practically family.

I was visiting Houston on business and connected with my cousin who took me there. The concept is fantastic and the food was so delicious. It is like what 5 star restaurants offer at very affordable price. Everything was so good. The selection, quality and service was from out of this world. I was not impressed with the food in Houston until I went to Fadi. I look forward to go and visit Houston again from Oregon so I can eat at Fadi. Thank you

We have had a half dozen family and friends gatherings at Fadi's. Food is always fantastic and of many varieties that anyone would enjoy. Room to accomodate, with reservations, from small to a large group. Staff has always been very accomodating.

Everything is delicious, but the sweet carrot almond salad is nothing short of divine! I really need to just keep a tub of it in my fridge at all times!

Excellent selection of meats, salads, sides and desserts. The line moves quickly and everyone is nice/helpful. I never know what to get because there is such a vast selection and everything is divine. The popular dish is the succulent lamb shank and of course I always have to get a lamb schwarma to go! ^.^

Fadi’s Meyerland is fabulous!! Head and shoulders above the other locations. Consistently fresh and delicious, with a big selection. The only challenge can be parking, which I consider to be a sign of a great restaurant.

I recently dined at Fadi's Mediterranean restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The menu offered a delightful array of Mediterranean dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. I started with the hummus and falafel appetizers, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. For the main course, I opted for the lamb kebabs, and they were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. What truly stood out, aside from the delectable food, was the attentive and friendly staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, enhancing our dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor. It was a perfect setting for a gathering with friends. In summary, Fadi's Mediterranean restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of exceptional food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere earns it a solid five stars in my book. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!

Delightful Mediterranean Delicacies at Fadi's Mediterranean Restaurant is a hidden gem that I recently discovered, and I can't stop raving about it! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The menu at Fadi's is a treasure trove of Mediterranean flavors. Each dish I tried was a burst of authentic taste and freshness. The hummus was smooth and creamy, the falafel was perfectly crisp, and the kebabs were tender and full of flavor. Not only was the food exceptional, but the presentation was also stunning. Each plate was a work of art, showcasing the vibrant colors and enticing aromas of the Mediterranean. The service at Fadi's was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and had a deep knowledge of the menu. They made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. In conclusion, Fadi's Mediterranean Restaurant is a must-visit for all Mediterranean food enthusiasts. The delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and excellent service make it a true culinary delight. I can't wait to return for another amazing dining experience at Fadi's!

Love this place and I go atleast once a week. My favorites are garlic hummus, chicken kebab, cheese pita, broccoli, and vermicelli rice. The desserts are tasty and the pita bread is the best I've had. The decor is beautiful and service is swift and friendly.

Amazing food, the fact that food is ready made and served cafeteria style makes this a great place for lunch breaks as it is very efficient and fast. It was so hard to decide what to get as everything looked amazing, but I ended up with jalapeno hummus, chickpea salad and lamb skewer. All were 10/10, will have to return to try more!

This is the best and original Fadis. Don't waste your money on others. I have tried and are not up to par with this location. The bread is better not to mention the quality of the food overall. For now on I won't waste my money on the other ones.

This is my first restaurant review because I do not like restaurant food in general. And I never tried Mediterranean restaurant. For some reason, I decided to try a new food today and went to Fadi’s, which is close to where I work. So this is the very first time for me to try Mediterranean food. I had to figure out how to order. The staff was very helpful. I picked meat ball and four other sides - a full plate! I was hungry. The setting was very pleasant, clean and beautiful. As soon as I dug in - Wow I really like it. I liked everything!! I ate about 3/4 of the plate and was full. I just had the leftover for dinner. So I have two things to say: 1) I plan to go back at least monthly or whenever I need a great meal. 2) If you have not been to this restaurant, try it. Besides, Mediterranean is one of the most healthy style of cooking.

So the system could be a bit better for a new person going and eating here! What they don’t tell you is scope out the food items before making your decision on what you want! It’s kind of like cafeteria style where everything is made in bulk (besides the protein) and you pick which meal or items you want. The avocado hummus was my favorite. I just wish there was an easier way to see all the food instead of walking the restaurant and then getting back in line.

Great service and delicious food! Staff are friendly and patient, even when it’s hard to decide what to get. The food never disappoints in flavor and the portion sizes are above average. The meatballs, Greek salad, lamb kebabs, and zucchini and squash are my favorite! There is a wide variety of dishes that are sure to please!

An excellent Arabic/ Mediterranean resturant. - Nice ambiance. - Fresh/ hala food. - I really liked the beef gyro. - The Tabbouleh was fantastic. It was better than many resturants from my home country. - They have fresh juices (e.g. pomegranate, mango ... etc.) which is not very common in the USA. I highly recommend that you give this place a try.

Went to Fadis for the first time and it blew my mind. Had the chicken kabob, pesto pasta, zucchini, spicy hummus, potatoes and a strawberry mango juice. Comes with pita bread on the side. It’s just so flavorful and tasty. It was more of an experience than a meal. Felt ready to face the 100 degree day after. Highly recommend.

The food is always great, healthy, fresh and large side portions. Staff is pleasant and professional, you're served cafeteria style so there's only so much service you get, that's why I put 4 stars instead of 5. It's like a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean Luby's but better 🙂. The atmosphere is cozy and prices are reasonable. The owners also operate the Alladin's on Westheimer & Montrose and the styles and dishes are very similar but not exact, you can't go wrong with either.
