We have come to this place MANY times because their burger is one of a kind!
The truffle fries are amazing. And we always get the Vietnamese burger and it is absolutely delicious.
Yes the place isn’t updated and the service can be a bit slow but the owners are sweet and the delicious food more than makes up for it!
Some of the BEST burgers in the area. The Fresh wagyu beef with so tasty and juicy!! So many topping options. Loved the parmesean fries, and the onion rings were just right as far as size and batter.
This was a very weird experience. I was looking for a place to eat with my kids, and we decided to go to this place instead of having pizza! Well, the restaurant is far away from a hamburger palace ambience! It looks like it was an adult oriented restaurant before. Dark and cold. The owners run the restaurant, an elderly couple doing their best to attend their customers, but not handling at all the customer experience. Food (hamburger)was very good including the french fries, my kids liked so this is a plus! A little bit pricey for what it is but I guess is the location of the restaurant. The owner wasn't rude as I read in other reviews, is just an old man who doesn't have the skills to deal with public. Anyways food was good, the experience was whatever....
Houston's Best Quality Wagyu Beef Burgers! This cozy contemporary café is simplistic yet gourmet! Delicious burger style choices and also offers veggie and chicken sandwich options too! A great lunch or dinner stop. Hands on ownership, with friendly and great service. They are accommodating on requested extras.. The Burger Palace is in walking distance to the Galleria, Hyatt and Westin hotels. I travel quite a lot and eat in great restaurants as well as I am a great cook & chef when home. I highly recommend this little hidden gem and never miss the opportunity to truly enjoy their high quality wagyu burger when in Houston.
The Burger Palace is owned by such a sweet couple. I've been coming back here since I moved to Houston and there was only 1 single time that I was disappointed in the food (must be an off day).
I recommend coming around lunch time and sitting outside on the patio. The spot is cute and the food is good.
My favorite is the Power Sunshine 🌞🌻. The waitor is so kind and very attentive. This is such a cute local spot 🥰 A+
Best burger in Houston, super soft meat cooked to perfection. Amazing fry selection, love the truffle fries and the parmesan and rosemary. Best limon lime juice drink I have had in Houston. Owner operater ran.
Great burgers, good friendly service (but not great). I ordered the Swiss Alps burger, and it was simply delicious. Healthy serving of high quality beef, cooked to order (medium well for me to retain the juices). Had a nice char at the bottom of the meat. The bottom bun was a little soggy from the meat, but I can't really complain about a juicy burger.
They also have a nice selection of beer, which I paired with my meal. Fries came out hot and fresh, and were crispy on the outside and full of flavor. We also ordered onion rings, but they were a little different from what we expected. They use like a light tempura batter. Overall, great food, and will probably be back in the future to try some of their other burgers.
Our food was delicious. We ordered veggie burgers and both were tasty. We really enjoyed the fresh limeade juice and look forward to visiting again.
These burgers are delicious. The decor is odd and air feels a little stagnant, I’ll still go back… Their low prices for the Kobe meat, and the location in the galleria… somewhat of a hidden gem. Give the Akaushi brisket tacos a try, we had them as an appetizer for our burgers and sweet potato fries.
Still some of the best, tasting burgers in the greater Houston area.
Visited many times in the past and after a 5 year gap visited again. The food is excellent. The burgers are still juicy and tasty, require little condiments for added flavor.
For my family and I, it's worth the price of "admission".
Wish they were closer but if it was we would need a bigger piggy bank, lol. It's not your standard burger prices
Highly recommended by a friend, The Burger Palace does please and charm. Ordered the Wagyu Brisket Burger and a side Greek salad. The brisket melt in the mouth, is flavorful and lean. The bun, even after a 15 min drive, remain in perfect shape, dry and crisp. The magic is in the long hours of grilling and smoking (14 hrs the owner said), ensuring the brisket is flavorful enough without the needs for excessive sauce. Friendly service. Food comes fairly quickly given how busy they are. Will definitely come back and try more burgers!
Excellent hand crafted burgers without the frills of a fancy restaurant. The Greek burger was tasty however it only had a minimal amount of feta cheese and olives. The service was good during my visit. Everything you order is al la Cart. Expect to spend $20 or slightly more for burger, salad and drink
Absolutely positively the best burger I have ever had. The people are wonderful and the service was down to earth and real. Very authentic.
