This is a great place to grab a big, tasty burger downtown. It's a cozy little place with limited seating. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere is very laid back. Cash only, though.

Been a staple in Houston for years. Love the burgers since college. Wish they took credit card and fixed up the dining area. Follow me on Instagram: Houstoneatz

This a pretty neat little place. Me and a coworker came here for lunch and really enjoyed the food. The awning covered side seating will keep you out of the sun. Just remember when you visit here it is cash only.

Awesome burger. Tried the cheesesteak burger and really enjoyed it. Small area to dine so pick your time wisely, but do pick a time and try it!

Bro. Bro. I thought I knew what a good burger was. Holy guacamole, I had no idea. I ate the Philly cheese steak burger, and fries and straight up tea (unsweet) Dude it was sooooooooooo good. The fries were decent... But the burger changed my life.

Great hamburgers. Very nice location in the heart of downtown. Please bring cash! They also have an ATM on site. Burgers are exceptional. Craft style, to original classics like bacon cheese and the like. Don’t forget the fries!

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for all the small things. This place does not have parking. You must find street parking. This place is cash only. They have an ATM in the back. This place is very small without AC. It can get crowded fast. I ordered the Greek Burger with sweet potato fries. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The sweet potato fries were freshly cooked. I would visit this place all the time if I lived/worked in the area.

Amazing burgers. We had the fruit burger and the Philly burger but the real star was how well the sweet potato fries were prepared. Sweet potato fries are easily over cooked and charred. These were soft in the middle but still firm and felt like a French fry. Yummy and hats off to the cook!

I wasn't really sure what to expect from all the hype in the other reviews. The burger was okay, like homemade, but not like wow what an amazing burger. I could have had a burger at Whataburger, not spend as much, and been more satisfied since I could have had onion rings too (they don't have onion rings), and also been less crowded and hot. Good hot, fresh made fries though.

Limited operating hours, cash only, not much seating space at all, just a few of the many quirks that this hole-in-the-wall joint has... but that does not stop the city of Houston from enjoying one of the best burgers that you'll ever try. Go here and try the burger you won't be disappointed forget about how small the place is, the drink selection is on point and they know exactly what they're doing they are top rated by many local reviewers like the Houston Press, Zagat and Yelp app. Very good, very.

Great flavorful burgers. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Would have given 5 stars but has very limited seating and only takes cash. Has ATM in location but an additional cost of 5$ (ATM and bank fees) for any burger is a bit out of there.

I had heard about Hubcap quite a bit before I ever got the chance to eat there...so, my expectations were pretty high. I finally got a chance to eat there a couple months ago and I have to say, my expectations were too low! This place is amazing! It's got a great "hole in the wall" feel to it and the burgers are the best I've ever eaten...hands down. Not only the burgers, but I love their chicken sandwiches as well. I haven't gotten a chance to try all of the specialty burgers just yet, but what I have had has been world class. I've taken out of town vendors there and they've agreed that this is a great burger.

The burgers were great. My only issues is the whole cash only thing. They do have an ATM onsite but the service charge is about $3.50 and the minimum is $20. Long story short, bring cash. I still highly recommend though.
