The food was really unique interesting and amazing. We had a wonderful time. Our waiter went above and beyond to go find my drink in the back and he was on top of his game the whole night we will definitely be back.

I had an incredible time at this restaurant! The food was outstanding, and the service from the staff was exceptional. I made reservations to celebrate six months of sobriety with a friend, and they went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion. Without a doubt, this place ranks among the top five restaurants in Houston. Plus, don't miss dining on the north balcony in the evening—the view is truly breathtaking!

I was in Houston for business and this place was recommended by a coworker that I can rely on for routinely finding the best places (typically on the high end of the expense range). I was a bit worried, as I had had a late lunch and wasn’t very hungry, but still found myself gobbling down the food simply due to how great it was. The pork ribs fell off the bone. Even though they could have been a bit spicer, I’d get them again. Service was fantastic and the relaxed seating made it feel casually elegant.

Okay before I start my review can we talk about the weird paper material covering the actual tablecloths at this place? Gave off a real iHOP aesthetic if you know what I mean. Was I supposed to color on it with crayons? Anyway, besides that I have to admit the location was quite immaculate. Lighting and ambiance was serene, and service was chill af and not overbearing like some places. Now onto food: These days every place thinks their dumplings are a revelation from heaven, but honestly these lived up to the hype. They were perfectly cooked to be just a tad crispy, perfectly tangy, and garnished ever so lightly with some green leafy thing. I have officially converted my religious beliefs to dumpling. Yellow curry with chicken: super flavorful Spicy fried rice with chicken: delicious and not too spicy (mix it with the curry) Garlic noodles: these were my favorite! Final verdict: Grab your box of Crayolas and come eat here it’s delish.

Good location near the entrance of the shopping complex. Front parking is for valet only. Free parking is right behind. Personal though: Food was ok, not enough flavors to reflect Vietnamese style. Ordered chicken salad, shaking beef, spicy pickle, special fried rice, yellowtail tartae. Beef was tender and soft. It’s best to get seatings on the second floor, with view to the street.

* Food: The food here was immaculate. It’s a mixture of Vietnamese/ French cuisine. I would recommend the glaze pork rib it melts in your mouth. My partner and I ordered the duck and shaking beef and it was made perfectly. The sauce complimented the duck so well. I would highly recommend these three. * Place/Atmosphere: 10/10 would recommend this place for the ambiance it’s the perfect place for a girls night out or date. Also the bathrooms are nice and clean. * Service: The service was great and did an amazing job explaining the food.

This is my most favourite restaurant in Houston The food is expertly prepared. The various flavours explode in one's mouth. Very good service. A tad expensive but worth it.

I had the pleasure of trying Le Colonial for the first time during lunch yesterday, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. Le Colonial is a French - Vietnamese restaurant, and their offerings during lunch are perfect for a delightful afternoon. My husband and I decided to share a couple of small plates before embarking on some shopping. We indulged in the Cha Gio / Crispy Shrimp & Pork Roll and the Sui Cao Chien / Pan Seared Chicken Dumplings. I can't stress enough how incredibly delicious both of these menu items were - it was an explosion of flavors in every bite! For cocktails, I opted for a Tequila Lemon Drop, a refreshing choice, while my husband enjoyed a Tequila Sour. Both were expertly crafted and complemented our meal perfectly. Our server, Flavio, deserves special recognition for his exceptional service. His knowledge of the menu and his thoughtful recommendations elevated our dining experience. He was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. I can't wait to return to Le Colonial for more wonderful memories. Le Colonial is a must-visit restaurant in Houston for anyone looking to savor French - Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming and delightful atmosphere.

would recommend making reservations to this place as it gets pretty packed during dinner time! we ordered the shaking beef, chicken ravioli (unique!) signature fried rice, and ribs. all super tasty but pretty high in sodium content (my body felt it the next day) overall would go again but would try to get a different variety of dishes

First time here and great place for occasional dinner. High price but worth it for an special occasion. Cool light on yhe tables. Clean place and nice crew, all the time taking care of you and your table. Food was delicious, portions not too small or big, would say great presentation and regular portion. Garlic green bean one of the best. Salmon was really good too. Margarita not as we used to in Mexican restaurants but drinkable. Salad and sticky rice great too. Valet parking useful for the area. Great experience in general. Recommended
