It was a great dinner. Our server Nathan provided such great service! Food is well thought of. He also surprised us with a great thought of providing us amazing dessert. I had a very awful shift at work and Nathan made our night with such a sweet gesture. We enjoyed our dining here! Oysters are so fresh and delicious. Will recommend and we will definitely be back. The ambience of the place is romantic and quite upscale.
My daughter and I went for Thanksgiving...I had the Thanksgiving dinner, my daughter had Duck.
I must say, it was, by far, the best Thanksgiving meal I've ever had.
My daughter loved the Duck.
We have intentions of making Eunice our new Thanksgiving tradition.
The restaurant is situated beautifully, the service was top notch, and the food was very flavorful.
Kudos Chef!
A parking garage is situated next to the restaurant but I would suggest valet.
Brussel Sprouts from Heaven
I can only speak for the dishes I got - brussel sprouts and the beignets. The former was much better than the later. The beignets were more edible because of the sauces, else I don’t think I’d have finished it. I’d give that dish a solid 3 or 2.4.
The brussel sprouts make one want to be a vegetarian, even if it’s only for a day. Server was nice but I think he was new, which is ok because he made up for it by being nice. Great spot to go with friends.
Overall 4.5 stars if I could
I met up with a colleague for a last minute late night dinner and was blown away. Not only were the cocktails and food amazing, but the atmosphere and service was IMMACULATE!! Amanda was amazing and deserves 5 stars across the board. She was very patient and made very excellent recommendations. She was attentive and quick with putting in orders/bringing them out. She really made this dine in experience so much better than expected. If you want the best possible service with a beautiful smile, I would suggest you ask for AMANDA! The food was excellent as well, but the service we were provided was the cherry on top!
Excellent lunch spot, date spot or whatever. The atmosphere was amazing, and the creole/Cajun dishes were sublime. I was very delighted with the appetizers as well as the main dish, the desserts were to die for, loved it. The servers were courteous, efficient and polite. Can't wait to return and I won't hesitate to recommending Eunice.
Delicious! We were in town from Austin and had a great Sunday lunch! We tried a little of everything. Biscuits, frittata, shrimp and grits, and the cheeseburger (to die for). Nate took great care of us! You should definitely ask for him when you visit. Hope to go back soon.
Very unique experience. Each dishes are well prepared and delicious. Corn bread are light but keep the tradition, the gumbo it's a must try!
Great appetizer selections with a satisfying dessert menu.
Friendly staff and enjoyable ambiance.
My new favorite restaurant in Houston!! Tim was an amazing server and recommend very awesome dishes! The restaurant was nice and airy. I will be back soon.
I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Upon pulling up to the restaurant, I could tell that this was going to be a nice experience.
The decor is very light and clean. You definitely get the sense of dining in a 4 star establishment.
Appetizers were excellent. The lump crab cake was flavorful. The skillet cornbread was AMAZING! The butter/syrup combination on the top really took it to another level .
The Duroc breaded pork had a perfect consistency of breading. It was light. The oil used to fry it was fresh. The kale on top was delightful. Even for someone who isn't a fan of excessive greens, it was a bright spot of the dish.
The best part of this experience was the Shrimp Étouffée. The roux was bold. The color of the roux was deep, which leads me to believe this flavor profile was achieved over a longer period of time rather than just thrown together last minute. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the fried shrimp on top created the most beautiful contrast of texture. Although it wasn't traditionally served with rice, the spinach pasta was more enjoyable. They are smaller bits of pasta, so you won't feel overwhelmed by excessive starch.
The only negatives that I would give this restaurant are the following:
The potato salad served with the bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo was not proportionate to the serving size of gumbo. This actually made the gumbo less enjoyable.
The size of the crab cake for the price paid was disgraceful.
Don't forget to save room for the bread pudding! It is out of this world.
The restaurant ambience was good. It was my first visit and I loved the food. The entree options in chicken/ fish were limited, so do check the menu online before visiting. Rating it as 4 star for the overall pleasant experience, food taste and the service.

My first time at this restaurant for my niece’s birthday and it definitely won’t be the last. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. At least two managers came by to check on us. I believe our server was new, but was still fairly knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Please leave room for their bread pudding….DELICIOUS!!! I can’t wait till it gets a little warmer to enjoy their beautiful patio.
We started at the bar, and first impressions were top notch. The service at the bar was friendly, knowledgeable, and very perceptive to our needs. I had the Sidecar drink which was good, but then went with the signature Margarita which was very good, smooth and delicious.
For lunch, we had a variety of starters, entrees, and desserts. The cornbread was perfect with the right amount of sweetness and textural crunch from the skillet. We also got a variety of oysters and paté. Both, very good. I had the shrimp and grits as my entree. It was very flavorful. Our lunch was a family gathering, and everyone there had a great experience! The atmosphere and food were excellent. I can't wait to go back!
Well I had my first ever Gumbo (chicken and sausage) and it SLAPPED HARD!! Incredible flavours and a fantastic set brunch
Service a little hit an miss, drinks very slow but otherwise a five star review for food and ambiance and value for money.
My partner and I visited Eunice for our anniversary, and it was a welcoming experience from the moment we entered. After getting a note that it was our anniversary, our server congratulated us and brought us back two glasses of champagne to celebrate. We ordered the Dan Dan Shrimp, the Cornmeal Crusted Oyster, and the cup of gumbo to start. Amazing! Our mains, Herb Roasted Chicken and Crispy Duroc Pork Chop, were also great. As an LGBT couple, this was such a beautiful, welcoming (and yummy!) experience. We will be coming back next time we are in Houston!
Great place for dinner. Oysters, corn bread, quail, biscuits, grilled gulf fish special, etc… It was all awesome. Also, the house drinks and wine list are fantastic. We went for an anniversary and we were treated like royalty.
Upscale and homely at the same time. Located in Kirby area. Lunch time is usually packed. The cornbread is a must. I had swizzle for a cocktail. Very beach tropical. I enjoyed it. For lunch I had the etouffee topped with fried shrimp. Cooked very uniquely with green pasta. Very rich and heavy! Super delicious. Overall you go once. You'll become a regular. Hands down. The service can suffer a bit due to how busy they are.
You can’t go wrong with anything at Eunice. Plus they make changes to their menu Régulo there is always something new to try. Definitely always get the charred broccolini and the brussel sprouts. I went with friends so we all got different plates and tried a little of everything. Plus the servers are always great and always give us great recommendations.
