Haven’t been here in years but decided to give it try for dinner and was pleasantly surprise how good the sushi was especially the price. Definitely affordable They apparently remodel and the decor is very nice and modern.
Had my birthday lunch here with my wife. Food was great, service was good, and it's a very nice place inside. No complaints from me.

We came her for lunch on a Monday afternoon and it was a def 10/10. ✨ I enjoyed everything that I ate, especially the Kobe Cubes and the signature nigiri. 🍣🐠
This place was really good! I enjoyed the sushi a whole lot and appreciated how there were also some vegetarian and vegan options for people. I ordered the kpop roll (which is vegetarian) and it was really delicious! There are also a few other options for food if anyone doesn’t want to eat sushi. the place is really nice and in a good area. the atmosphere was really nice to eat in as well!
The service was amazing! It would be nice if they made their 'vegetarian' portion have a couple more actual plant based/vegan options rather than having to substitute. Other than that, the food was super fresh and the mocktails and cocktails were on point. Thank you!
This place is so amazing! The service is exceptional. I had the jade blossom cocktail. The madai was my favorite piece, though everything we tried was so good. I can’t wait to go back!
Edited to say, we went back as it was just as good as the first time. The kobe cubes, 7 1/2, truffle tuna and more. All delicious.
We were there with a big group last night- highlights were the toro and the nigiri! The zubi roll was also great. I loved the yellow pon, and would def get that again. They were also nice enough to make a mocktail with mango purée for me, which was delicious!
Sushi was delicious. Romantic atmosphere. We ordered the shrimp Lobster roll, Goddzilla, 7 1/2, Zubi, and the Lickety split rolls. They were all good. For dessert we ordered the Mochi ice cream. Highly recommend it for a date.
Stopped in for a quick bite. Tempura veggies were perfectly fried. Chicken Gyoza, perfectly fried. Shaggy dog, best I ever had AND in smaller bite size pieces. I went later in the afternoon and it was quiet, the service was quick and the waitress was really nice.
It has been more than 10 years since I was here last. It’s still good experience and great customer services.
Food quality is decent for what they offer as fusion sushi.
If this were solely based on food, I might’ve gone with a 4 or ideally a 4.5. But the ambiance and service definitely pushed it over the top. Omar and Jasmine were awesome, especially with how often they checked in with us and in being accommodating with whatever requests we sent their way. The overall look and feel of the restaurant is pretty different from other sushi spots in town, with a nice mix of chic, elegant, and still kinda relaxing. The food itself wasn’t too shabby either. The Kobe Cubes were a pretty unique and tasty starter, as we’d never had a Japanese app based with ground beef like that before. The crunchy rice at the bottom might’ve been the best part. The Dynamite Shrimp was also solid, but the star of the night was easily the Beef Tataki. From the first bite, we could tell this was a higher quality piece of beef, that thankfully wasn’t overpowered by the sauce itself. Easily the dish I’d recommend the most. The various types of nigiri were all pretty good. From their signature selection, the Salmon and A5 definitely stood out the most and were our favorites of the group. The Black Pepper Tuna and Tiger Shrimp were our least favorite parts of the meal, but still had a ton of flavor and wouldn’t warrant a label of regret by any means. Overall, this was a great dining experience and one I would be more than happy to repeat.
Dumplings and sushi here are amazing. Love the dark ambience of this place, perfect for a nice dinner. You have to make reservations before; usually they’re not too booked, I’ve always made the reservation even a couple minutes before arriving and on the weekend.
Uptown Sushi Restaurant is an absolute gem! The ambiance is elegant and modern, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The sushi is top-notch, with fresh and flavorful fish that will leave you craving for more. The staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction.
Every time I come here, I feel comfortable because it feels casual yet upscale. Whether it's a date night, business meeting or just to grab a quick lunch alone, all occasions work.
Quality sushi and good prices. I like the open lounge concept with modern vibes. Staffs are polite and friendly.
I try to avoid weekend dinner hours since it's quite crowded and loud, but with this COVID, I like the way it is right now with less customers. Not the best for the business but this kind of environment is what I prefer lol.
