Roostar Vietnamese Grill - Houston - Photo album

This place is why trying different places & not just going to your usual spots over and over again is worth it. In a day and age where the combination of excellent food quality and great customer service are often lacking, Roostar is absolutely an exception! The service was so helpful & friendly tha
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Bahn mi chicken sandwich was great. Very soft hoagie and just the right mixture of meats and veggies. Service was fast. In and out in less than 10 minutes. There is inside seating for small groups of 4 or fewer.
I really like this little restaurant! The staff were super helpful and recommended the beef over rice with egg roll and side salad. The cost for everything was around $11 with a discount. I got their highly favored Vietnamese Coffee which was splendid. It was sweet but still had that traditional bit
Had a fantastic and inexpensive dinner here, service was quick and they were very attentive. I had the steak noodle bowl with Thai chicken soup (like Tom kha gai) and both were amazing, my daughter devoured her pork noodle bowl as well. They have a small selection of beers and hard seltzer, pleasant
I was here for a lunch break. Service is great. Food is okay, not bad. Maybe not authentic enough for me, but I think banh mi looks good and I heard the garlic fries here are amazing. I would try that next time.
I got the salmon and pork belly banh mi and both were delicious! I also got their Vietnamese ice coffee, which was strong but not overly bitter. Definitely will be coming back!
Roostar was amazing so I’ll give 5 stars on this review. The ribeye Banh Mi was one of the best I’ve had. We ordered the chicken wings and I was so surprised you could get a side of beef yellow curry with rice. It was actually really good too! My girl order the special Banh Mi and said it was an el
Roostar is probably my favorite restaurant in Houston - I grab it to go anytime I’m in Spring Branch. Their Bahn Mis have won competitions and it’s easy to see why! I love the tofu Bahn Mi. I have noticed a smell from the grease trap lately but it’s not so strong that you can’t sit to eat there.
I took a group of people to lunch who are a little picky. They liked it so much that they voted to go back the next day as well. That's pretty high praise. The bread on the Banh MIs is a soft French bread, and the meat is well seasoned, especially the pork. The wings and soup are great too! I've be
I love me some Roostar!!! In my opinion the best Bahn Mi ever made. The staff is always friendly. The food is always stellar. My only complaint is their Chili Paste is no longer available.
The food was suprisingly really good! Definitely will come back.
Excellent location for a quick and filling meal. They had garlic butter fries on the side, which we also ordered. The dazzling sidewinder fries came with a jalapeo cream dipping sauce and were seasoned to perfection. The sauce had a kick to it, but I didn't find it to be overly spicy. Be sure to eat
We tried a BYO Box(Chopped Ribeye, half white rice half lettuce, and jalapeño sauce) for myself, bulgogi fries for my 2 toddlers to share, and a banh mi with grilled pork for another guest. Safe to say it was super delicious with and without the jalapeño sauce, mostly with since it complimented the
I've been going there since the restaurant started . Since it was called Vietnam poblano. Food always delicious. My son loved their alphabet soup since he was one. He's about to turn 10 n still gets it!!! Can never go wrong with Bahn mi grilled pork and some some egg rolls but sometimes I switch i
A friend recommended me this place because of their pork Banh mi. I couldn't help myself but try their fried wings with garlic butter, I got the combo that came with wings and a salad. The texture of the wings was exquisite; crispy on the outside and tender inside. I wish they could have used more g
This place was recommended by a friend who lives in spring branch. I’m glad I finally stopped. Roostar is incredibly fresh and delicious. Their milk tea was semi sweet and refreshing that can be enjoyed in cold or hot weather. The chicken banh mi was made to order and came out on a warm loaf of brea
2nd time eating here, even better this time. The bahn mi sandwiches might be the best I have ever had. They have fresh ingredients with a really good garlic aioli. Had the grilled pork, but they have several other meat options. The place is somewhat small, but the service is fast.
1st time here and it was amazing. The banh mi, vietnamese sandwich was very fresh, had amazing flavors and texture. Yummy chop ribeyes , tender and season well. Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches, the lemon pepper chicken wing was hot , crispy and fresh. Definitely will come back to try more sandwic
