I went with my manager and maintenance lead. We had lunch. We had the chicken fried steak, Salmon Dill and the Pepper Steak. The food was amazing. The plating was beautiful. Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We got to meet the Manager. Very nice and friendly lady. My manager told them it was my birthday and brought me a Strawberry Shortcake that was delicious and they got Flan. I was looking for something different and found a Jewel. We will be coming back. I Highly recommend you try it out. Very impressed and satisfied with everything. Thanks for the great food and service.
We loved the place. First of all the ambience is warm and cozy. Then the service is above excellent. The waiters are helpful, present but not annoying. The food was delicious, big portions and prices are pretty reasonable for the upscale level of the restaurant. Highly recommended!

We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Genesis Steakhouse in October 2023. We invited around 40 guests for this special occasion, and Genesis went above and beyond to make it a memorable event.
The pot roast, brisket, and salmon were clear crowd favorites, with each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. In addition to the delicious main courses, the pastry chef beautifully replicated a miniature version of our 3-tier wedding cake.
A special shoutout goes to Jason , Sarah, and his amazing team for their exceptional communication and dedication to ensuring every aspect of our celebration was just right. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our anniversary unforgettable truly set them apart.

I am very pleased to note that even though a kosher restaurant, this is one of those kosher venues that gets it right; the food is always great, and this is how a restaurant should be run. Even if you don't keep kosher, it's a good restaurant to enjoy a nice meal at.
Also: I hesitated to order from here for the longest time, only because it's a steakhouse and I had told myself that it would be on the more pricy side, but just ordered from them after checking the menu and seeing the pricing is pretty much on par with almost every other kosher place in the city, so if you're already going to pay kosher food prices, you might as well get some of the best kosher food in the city.
Finally, try the pulled brisket sliders (and the onion rings!). They're
DELICIOUS.

The service was absolutely insane. Ive never received better service at a restaurant before. They were all so knowledgeable and kind. They were minutes from closing and happily made me an order to go. I was really,really impressed. The food was fresh and outstanding. If your ever in Houston, this is a must try! I got the Poke,Ceviche,burger and short rib tacos :)🍔🌯
Thought this was a very strange concept. Sushi and kosher?!? To my surprise, everything we ordered was AMAZING! Must try their Kobe beef hamburger,... $30 and worth every dime!! I didn't order sushi though. I would definitely recommend!
Very nice upscale kosher restaurant with extremely reasonable prices. The staff were professional and helpful, and the owner came out to meet us and tell us all about Houston! I will undoubtedly come back the next time I'm in town.
Wonderful restaurant. The food is Kosher for those of the Jewish faith. The staff were friendly and attentive. We started with the Salmon "Calamari" which was incredible. For my main dish, I chose the Southwest Chicken Caesar salad. The presentation was perfect as was the flavor. I will be returning again.

It was utterly ridiculous how the service was. Better service at a restaurant has never been experienced by me. Every single one of them was incredibly wise and considerate. They happily prepared me an order to go even though they were just minutes away from closing. That impressed me a lot. Fresh and delicious meal was served. This is something you must try if you're ever in Houston! I ordered a burger, short rib tacos, ceviche, poke, and poke.
This was legitimately one of the best meals in my entire life, the onion rings: Best I ever had, the fries: some of the best I ever had, the burger (specifically the Bruce burger with no onions or vegetables or tomatoes (I’m a little picky)) the SINGULAR BEST burger I have had in my life (to wash it down I had a Shirley temple or 2), after having the Bruce burger my insides felt like I had a massage, my mouth was transcending this mortal plane after eating such a good burger, my mind felt grateful for the entire course of history that led me to this meal. I will now end all wars and start a everlasting period of peace and harmony among humans so that we may share the gift of the Bruce burger with each other. Divine beings will come down to eat from this place and the earth will become a paradise for all life in the universe to enjoy this divine gift.
They also had pretty good mood lights.
