We made it to houston late, and Google suggested this place because they serve food all night
It was lovely!! I really enjoyed the whole experience. The atmosphere was cozy and classy. And I'm so glad we went. The food was delicious! I had the chicken enchiladas Verdes, and He had the beef fajita enchiladas. The margaritas were killer! You could actually tell there was tequila in them, unlike most places.
Food was tasty, presented well, good vegetarian option. Service was excellent the people over there are so polite, welcoming and patient to answer any questions. Being vegetarian we had lot of questions. Ambiance and decor is icing on cake. #supportinglocalbusiness.
One suggestion easy on cheese means easy.
First time here. Food was good. Came out really quickly. Service was awesome. The atmosphere is great. Very lively when I went. Plenty of parking in back.
My girl and I wanted a late night treat. We ordered the fried ice cream. It was big enough for two and the best part was the price. Only ten dollars. Well worth it.
Spanish Flower has been one of my favorite restaurants for Mexican dishes in Houston. I enjoy the refreshing Margaritas because I can have one and feel chill. The salsa go from mild to spicy. The complimentary cup of soup is absolutely delicious I could eat a whole bowl with tortillas. Fajitas are sizzling and cooked perfectly. My true definition of a great Mexican restaurant is the charro and they have amazing charro beans. Or maybe this is reminiscent of my grandmother cooking. I always feel satisfied when leaving Spanish Flowers.
Here for a birthday party. The area hasn't been set up prior to our arrival so we had to help set the tables up so we could decorate. The drinks were Soo good and refreshing. Martin handled our rowdy table with no problem. We sat on the roof top patio where we were the only ones there. Spacious and accommodated our group well. The food was delicious!! I will definitely go back.
Loved it for a late dinner! Waitress was so attentive and made sure our orders were correct. The food was fresh, delicious, and hot. The margarita tree was also a nice treat. After we ordered it, some other tables got one, too.
It has been a while since we last visited Spanish Flowers on N. Main. I’ll tell you, they have not missed a beat. We celebrated my mother’s surprise 75th birthday dinner this past Saturday at this location. We had about 45-50 other family members celebrating with us. We reserved an area of the banquet room had the buffet style fajitas with ALL the trimmings that came highly recommended. I had been in contact with ILSA, RUTH, and ANGEL to make sure everything was in order. They did not let us down. They dedicated several staff members to tend to our guests. They were ALL on point They did an amazing job going. Spanish Flowers went above and beyond to help make it special for my mom. From putting her name on the marquee out front, to playing “las Mañanitas” as she walked in, to singing their version of happy birthday with the “sombrero” and sparklers etc. It was a great experience. I highly recommend this amazing and originals restaurant tucked away in the Northside/Heights area!
Houston staple... food is awesome and the staff is great.. stop by... Well until next time signing off Two Peas
My cousin celebrated her 60th birthday here. The food was great and the service was immaculate.
The food was really delicious and the service was great. Will definitely recommend if near the Houston downtown area.
I love Spanish flowers! Even when I order their delivery via Uber eats that call me to make sure they have my order right! What
Impeccable service! Y’all are hands down the best late night, Mexican, food in all of Houston!!! And perhaps the best Mexican food in the whole city!
Looking for great cheese enchiladas, tacos al carbon and fresh salsas? Spanish Flowers is a Houston classic, one of the best Tex Mex restaurants in the city. I love the “mole” like sauce they add to the cheese enchiladas. I’ve always enjoyed the pre-meal appetizer, this visit it was soup. Their chips are light and the salsas are homemade. I was surprised by the delicious beef fajita taco that I enjoyed the following day because it was a large meal. But the best surprise was the sweet iced tea! I missed good sweet iced tea. Their margarita selection also is impression, I’ll be back for one soon.
