Fantastic Brunch w/ jazz trio
Great service
Mature environment
The octopus carpaccio was excellent as well as the fig&olive salad. Very good paella, which is hard to find. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with choices. I did not have any cocktails but my husband seemed very happy with his. The table next to us ordered lamb and it looked and smelled incredible, enough to want to make me come back very soon. I can’t wait to go back!

Great flavors....great atmosphere
I've been living in the Galleria area since I moved to Houston from Minnesota but have yet to go to the Galleria mall. My friend and I met here and were pleasantly surprised with our choice of places. I just picked it from Google and wanted somewhere that had parking versus having to park in the ramp. This is right off Westheimer next to Saks.
The ambiance is very classy but comfortable. We chose to eat on the patio which I put a picture of in the review. We found out from the waitress that it is a woman-owned restaurant. That made me feel good to support it! I had a basic cheeseburger but the flavor was so awesome! I also had the parmesan which word delectable! My friend had the avocado toast which I did try, it was a little bland. I put pictures of both in the review. It wasn't that busy there which was too bad. The prices were fair considering the location. I would definitely go back.
The service was exceptional I must say. Our waitress could not have done a better job!
This place is so delightful!
What really made me want to try this restaurant was the website. Their attention to accessibility is wonderful to see. There are many disabled parking spots near the entrance, and the layout of the space is wheelchair friendly. The staff is also kind and accommodating.
It seems like the menu changes seasonally, so I am excited to try out different menus. The only thing that needed fixing was whatever the bread was being cooked on, as it tasted burnt every time. The dessert, however, was absolutely spectacular! I also really appreciated that the wine was created in their own vinyard.
Delicious light and flavorful Mediterranean food. What a treat. I loved the portions and the variety of balanced flavors. The ambiance was wonderful and light as well. The location sucks, so you will get some super douchey people in there, but that's not entirely their fault. The service was excellent and professional.
Fancy Mediterranean French fusion. The service is excellent. However, I had the octopus and felt that it was a bit overcooked, and rather too chewy for my taste. My colleague seem to like their dishes. Perhaps I should order something different next time.
We had a wonderful time at Fig & Olive for a dinner reservation. Cesar, Abby, and the whole team were gracious and we can’t thank them enough for being such great hosts. Highly recommend!
I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Our waitress Abby was amazing!
The crostinis are my favorite on the menu I am obsessed with them. They have great cocktail selection as well.
Fig & Olive is an upscale restaurant & bar in the Galleria Mall serving seasonal Mediterranean meals prepared with flavored olive oils. We have gone a few times to grab a quick bite when shopping at the mall. It’s usually not busy, and we’re able to grab a table right away.
[COCKTAILS]
+Riviera Old Fashioned (Sagamore Rye, Lost Irish Whiskey, Chai, and Pomegranate) for $22 - Although this had “chai” in it, the waitress told me this was an error. Not worth the $22 for this drink though. I didn’t taste any pomegranate either. - 3/5
[SMALL PLATES]
+Panko-Crusted Spanish Octopus (‘nduja, fingerling potatoes, celery, red onions, green olives, and Mojo Picón sauce) for $27 - I would avoid ordering this. It’s like octopus “nuggets,” and the potatoes served with it tasted off. - 3/5
+Burrata di Bufala (roasted squash, pine nuts, and gremolata sauce) for $19 - The burrata paired with the roasted squash was okay. I would order something else next time. - 3.5/5
[SIDES]
+Rosemary, Parmesan, and Truffle for $14 - This was the best item from brunch. - 4.5/5
Overall, the restaurant is nice and they change their menu seasonally. Some items are a miss seasonally, but we come back here and there to try out the new dishes. If you’re in the Galleria shopping, Fig & Olive is a nice place to take a little food break if trying to avoid the food court.
Cool restaurant. I’m glad I stopped in. The lamb was outrageously good! And shout out to the bartender Luis, I tried his new mezcal after dinner drink and it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants some big bold & spicy flavors in their food!
The most amazing food I have ever had . The chef is amazing . The service was also amazing . .
Came here for brunch last weekend and was absolutely blown away by the food! We ordered the tuna carpaccio, fig and olive burger, steak and eggs and lemon pound cake. Everything was incredible and the service was superb. Will absolutely be back. Cutest spot for a brunch date or girls day!
Very nice place with a very nice bar and outdooor area. food is good but nothing special.
Fresh , tasty, food with very nice vibe I always like to go for lunch cause the restaurant have a lot of window and sunny I like the energy of it during the day .
Went to celebrate our anniversary. The place is stylish, the servers are attentive and courteous and the food is great.
This restaurant provided an exceptional dining experience with delicious food, and the owner's personal attention made us feel valued and well taken care of. Highly recommended for a memorable meal.
Very pretty restaurant. The staff and service was good, but I wasn’t super impressed with the fish. I thought the Mediterranean Sea Bass was meh; it was fishy and the potatoes were cooked/grilled so long, they were extremely tough and dried out.The ribs appetizer was very tasty. The little gem salad was also tasty.

My experience:
My presence was well received here. From the time we walked in and were greeted by the host, to the time we made it to our table and was met by our server, it was phenomenal.
I personally love impressionable staff members and that's what the host and all the people we encountered that work here were.
Anna, our server was very knowledgeable, engaged, and energetic about what the menu had to offer. I'm not sure how the protocol works for this restaurant but all staff members do a great job of welcoming you even if they're just bringing you another cup of water, they're very happy to be serving you.
Mediterranean dishes never tend to disappoint me, I can't speak for everyone but for me in general they're always flavorful always delicious always rich and this time didn't disappoint either.
I could honestly rave for another few paragraphs but I feel like my point has gotten across if not let me summarize.
Great staff great food great atmosphere.
Visited Fig & Olive for a company dinner. The atmosphere and environment was perfect. The service was efficient and the servers were very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu offered various selections that could be appreciated by all at dinner.
For the table, we order Flatbread and various crustinis as appetizers. They were all flavorful and interesting. The main course was a steak that was cooked to the perfect temperature. Dessert was a chocolate mousse that was silky smooth. We really enjoyed our dinner.
