I'm grateful for Google out herwise we wouldn't have known this place exists. It has a great feel for a Texas BBQ place. There's plenty of seating inside and out. The ribs were fall off the bone but not overcooked good and the brisket was super moist. My buddy has the smoked wings and was impressed.
Delicious food! Can tell it's all homemade 😋 love the service. Everyone had great smiles. Will definitely be back to try more of their desserts. Peach cobbler was on fire🔥
Went to order take out. The prices are on the high side. I ordered a baked potato with brisket. A side of baked beans, mac and cheese, and banana pudding for dessert. The brisket was a little on the dry side. The baked potato was delcious otherwise. Everything was fresh. The barbecue sauce is tangy
First off..The staff is AMAZING!
As you can imagine with staff this good the food is even better. Absolutely delicious.
The Mac & Cheese is the real deal! Not just noodles with a queso, like all the other places.

Good food. This time, I ordered the big poppa, baked beans, and rib tips. Check your order before leaving. No extra bbq sauce as requested ( they skimpy on bbq sauce).
Wow! Wow! Wow! We were searching for a bbq place close to our hotel and stumbled upon this place! EVERYTHING was amazing! From the coleslaw to the beef ribs to the potato salad to the bread pudding. First time eating here and was blown away. Everything was delicious. From the sides to the meats to the banana pudding. Well worth the money. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back.
These bbq place is delicious! Great customer service and very tasty food. Had their 2 meat plate plus 1lb of ribs. And its only 4 minutes walking from truck stop!! Coming back for sure!!
Wow! I wish I had come here a long time ago! I'm always looking for great brisket and it's not always easy to find, especially on Sundays or later in the day. I ordered the 2 meat plate with sliced brisket and sausage, with greens and mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely fantastic!

Smoked Oxtail, Brisket, Smoked chicken are highlights so far, Mac and Cheese, baked yams, Cajun rice are amazing sides.

Our company had this place cater our lunch today for work. Right on time and professional. The ribs, sliced brisket sandwich and sides were on point. I like their bbq sauce, not too sweet. Everyone enjoyed the food.

The loaded baked potatoes were delicious!!! The mac and cheese was not sadly neither one of us nor my son liked it so we only ate 3 spoonfuls and threw it away 🙁 Everything else was great.

Incredible barbecue. The brisket was moist and the sausage was spiced just right. Everything tasted fresh like it had just come off of the pit or out of the oven. Cajun rice was spot on!

We had originally planned on going to a BBQ spot closer to downtown but had run out of time. I am so happy that we did and we found Southern Q close to the airport. It is a down-home spot and appears to be family run. The food was excellent.
