Pine Forest Garden is a hidden gem šŸ’Ž it was our first time here , we were coming 45 mins before the restaurant closed. We were excited about to try their all you can eat buffet, there are lots of food options here. The owner was very nice and welcoming and concerned about if the food is not enough for us. Hence he went into to kitchen and made us more fresh dishes . We were so surprised by his hospitality. We really like this restaurant and really enjoyed the food here.

We've been coming to Pine Forest for years and it hasn't changed-- still as delicious, welcoming, and comforting as it's always been! The owners are always so kind to us, and the last time we went they even treated us to a plate of fresh fried "chicken". If I didn't live an hour away I would find an excuse to eat here every week! If you're vegan or vegetarian, or even if you're not, please check out this awesome place and you'll definitely leave full and happy :)

Best Chinese Vegan buffet I have been to. Many variety of choices and everything was vegan. All the foods were very flavorful and fresh foods were being made and brought out constantly. Will definitely visit again when I am in Houston. Couple of the staff did not speak English so it took a while to confirm if everything at the buffet or vegan or not. Manager or Owner was friendly

They have good options. Their mock beef was quite realistic. I enjoyed their fried rice and veggie slider, especially.

I recently moved to Houston from California and found this wonderful small Chinese vegan buffet restaurant. Not only the food is good, but itā€™s also cruelty-free. Customer service is excellent. The people here are super nice. Makes my dining more enjoyable. Thank you. Highly recommend this place. Support local small own businesses. The orange chicken is my favorite food. Yummy yummy! šŸ˜

A great variety and lots of flavor in the food, even if youā€™re not used to some of these flavors being vegan. I did find it confusing that they have Vegetarian written everywhere but I decided to trust the ā€œ100% Vegan Buffettā€ window decal outside. For $13-14 at a Buffett is good to me, and the food is not a typical western palette, but itā€™s refreshing to eat vegan thatā€™s not your typical ā€œbeyond/impossibleā€ incorporated meats. Amazing tofu, vegan chicken, desserts were good! I would just say the greens were a bit too bitter. But if youā€™re the type of vegan who doesnā€™t like to still feel hungry after eating, try this place out! Again some different flavors if your palette is very American/western, adjustment might be needed, still VERY good and was VERY satisfied.

I'm obsessed with their vegan orange chicken, it's soooo good. Wish I lived closer to eat it more often!! They have lots of delicious menu options, it's one of my favorite restaurants to visit when back in Houston. The buffet is really nice too. We usually order the jasmine tea to drink as is a perfect (floral) accompaniment to a meal at Pine Forest Garden imo.

The staff is amazing! The food is so delicious! The desserts are spectacular. Hands down my favorite vegan buffet in Houston. Thank you for making my dairy allergy a blessing since I get to eat food like this!

INCREDIBLE!!! :) WHAT A DIVERSE BUFFET! Everything you can taste of over 30 items is fresh, incredibly pleasing, and well prepared. The owner was super friendly and took the time to explain each of the foods on the buffet and suggested combinations. We must have tried only 14 items, but...Wow. Bursting with flavor. This Asian vegan restaurant has something for everyone in this warm and friendly atmosphere. Great prices, too. 10.50 for this lunch buffet.

Great energy in this place! Vegan and vegetarian hotspot I newly discovered today! I always love a good buffet so I can have a sample of many items and this buffet is great. Dont miss out on the crispy mushrooms and the sesame sushi avocado bombs. At first glance the colorful dishes look like they have meat but everything is vegan (yes even the turkey). We tried as many dishes as we could but we will gladly come back again to try the rest:) lunch 10.50.

It's kinda expensive for lunch, but oh so pleasing to my taste buds! I'm not a vegetarian, but enjoy a break from heavy meats every so often. I started with a small selection on my plate and went back a couple of times to try different dishes. Went with friends and asked each other if they liked certain dishes before trying them. Filled up before I could try all the delicious items I wanted. Because the food was so easy on the tummy, I splurged on desserts! Will return to taste more yummy dishes.

My family has been coming here for many years. The food is delicious! We always leave stuffed but without the gross feeling one gets from eating richer food. The buffet has recently been downsized a bit due to reduced customer traffic since COVID, but the quality is still outstanding. Ate there today and would go back just for the crispy, juicy batter-fried mushrooms! The fried rice was wonderfully seasoned, the green beans were fresh and perfect, the meatballs were delicious, and a sweet and sour dish I hadn't had before was a delightful mix of crispy and sweet. Update 11/15/2022. I noticed today that the buffet is back to full scale, including the sushi rolls and desserts. Please support this place. They make my stomach very happy every time I go! mmmmm...

I enjoyed eating the vegetarian lunch buffet here as it has the crystal vegetable dumplings tasting so good - with lots of vegetables, without meat and yet surprisingly delicious. The buffet variety also includes fresh and hot soy beans soup for unlimited rounds. They have nice frozen food available for purchase too. I always experience their friendly and great services for my takeout orders as well as dine-in

By the sweet gods of vegan and Chinese food, this may be my #1 favorite vegan place in Houston. For context, Iā€™ve been vegan for 6.5 years and was raised in Houston, and Iā€™ve been going to this place ever since I became vegan and itā€™s stayed consistently delicious. The food here is so outrageously good and you can eat as much as you like that you end up in your car having to take a breather (or nap like how my bf has) before you drive home. The owner is so nice and friendly and he actually recognizes me when I come in (shows how often Iā€™ve come in). Tonight, I arrived an hour before they closed and there wasnā€™t much left of the buffet, but they gave me everything they had AND made me food off their menu no problem. So listen here, this place is so good, my selfish a** wouldnā€™t even tell people about it for a hot minute, but Iā€™m moving and I need- no, REQUIRE you to support this beautiful establishment because they deserve it and I want to be able to come back here in the future.

I found the food to be very delicious, but some of them just taste quite the same to me. Also the waiter said, you can't use the used plate, and grabbed the plate from my hand while I was on my way to the second round. I mean it's my plate and I'm eating on it. Prices are economical and place is clean. It gets a bit confused when crowded. Loved the tofu
