Halal Guys are the best in town yet they don't provide original taste of Middle East Shawarma. Just like any other Shawarma shop meat used comes already processed ( semi prepared) and it's too salty that some people will think again or at lease enquirer from franchise owner about ingredients.

I'm hooked now on the regular combo. It's good and plenty of food. Watch out for the hot sauce because it will get you. Always had good service at this location. There's always a good crowd but the line goes quickly.
The food! The service is amazing! I love how my they load up the meat and all the ingredients on my sandwich!
More is always good!

5 Stars for service! A friendly man who I assume was the manager noticed my husband trying to scoop the new spicy hummus off of his sandwich and asked him if it was too spicy. He replied that it was definitely spicier than he thought it would be and the manager immediately insisted that he bring him a fresh sandwich. He wanted to refund us for the hummus and we explained that we told the cashier we didn't need a receipt and that no refund was needed. He came back moments later with cash and a plate of fries for us. It's refreshing to see such a proactive and customer service oriented team at a quick food spot!
I'd never been before, but I was impressed by the service and the food. Everyone was very nice, and the food was super tasty. I ate the gyro platter and fries. There was so much food, I had to save it for later. I also got a "frequent flyer" card, and got a discount. But I was most impressed with the customer service, which was top notch. Also, what is in the fries? So addictive.
Karen came by and asked if we wanted hot sauce. We got hot sauce. 10/10 would get hot sauce again. (for real though great food. I'm not a fan of Mediterranean food but this was the bomb)
The food is delicious! The chicken and meat combo plate is my favorite. I only wish there was a location near downtown.

Best in the business. Love their humus and fries along with the best Beef and Chicken over rice combo. The Bbq sauce is a must have on your plates. So much better quality of food than the rest especially the Gyro King food truck who claims BETTER by selling burnt lamb and cancer chicken to the customers. Took the special, a Platter with three items: beef, rice and lettuce and tomato, a small scoop of hummus and three little pita triangles. $9.99 and the quantity was good.
Verdict:
The food is delicious. It tastes clean, without added funky seasonings. I have a very sensitive stomach, and it was perfectly happy afterwards, as the food didn't cause any discomfort.
Bottle drinks are pricey.
Pet peeve:
There is an outside toilet. I was at the restaurant about 40 minutes. I tried to use it several times, and the door was always locked. I knocked no answer. I think management should install a second toilet or at least check on the person (anything can happen).
I will eat again at the Halal Guys as I found the food delicious.

this is the most reliably good, open late, real food not fast food place that I have found in Houston! everything there is delicious, everybody there is so nice, and the portions are huge,(I always have enough to eat twice), I highly recommend it
The food disappointed me. It was kind of cold and lack flavor. Not as good as the food truck, but I guess it's hard to keep the same quality once you become a corporate. Staffs were nice and the place was clean.
Yesterday we were gonna finally try trill burgers but it's still so packed came here instead, meal was great, staff was great manager was nice. It was clean and food was amazing. Although this wasn't wat we came for it was so good n filling 10/10 would recommend.
Gyro platter was delicious! Like the veggie they put together with meal. Made you feel good about yourself. The service was great & prices were a lil expensive. Great location next to bars but also the freeway.
Finally had the opportunity to stop in and pick something up after passing by so many times. I decided to get the Falafel Platter. The service was fast and the staff was pleasant. When I got home, I sat down and enjoyed my food. Everything went well for my first visit. Hope to be back soon.
Spectacular food in a low key destination. Food was served hot and tasty. Did not disappoint. Lots of customers for such a small location but service was on point, and perfect, every single time. Lives up to the hype!!
My son has been here many times so I copied him. He got the small combo plate of beef and chicken shawarma, it came with lettuce and tomato and rice and pita bread and a large chocolate chip cookie and a fountain drink. He told me the red sauce had some major league so we both asked for one small squirt on each order along with their white sauce. I copied his order verbatim, sure glad I did....I'll be bringing his mom on my next visit, she will love it.
Brought my wife to Halal Guys and it wasn't quite as good as my previous visit. 3 stars. Wifey got the falafel plate, they were good. I had the chicken and beef gyro combo, it was good. Both plates came with rice, lettuce, tomato and pita bread. Anything else is and extra charge. 30 plus dollars for fast food is too much. This location has two inside tables and some more on the outside.

Chicken platter 🥙 is pretty good, u feel quite filled with the bowl, try hummus side with some fresh pita its awesome. Warning ⚠️ If u want red sauce 🌶 make sure u know its really really hot. Prices are decent, overall maintenance and cleanliness is fair.
I have been going here for maybe four years and I am never disappointed. Compared to other Halal guys I have been to this place is has the most courteous, professional, and friendly people. The manager is always present and always helping his team. I love this place and the staff.
Super fast sandwiches, often crowded and fast paced neighborhood. Good thing they are halal. They function as an assembly line food service. Prices are intermediate. Not so expensive but not cheap either. Baklava was worth trying. Keep up the good work staff.
They might wanna expand a little bit as the place is always packed during afternoons.
Great beef plates with rice, lettuce and tomatoes, service is great, never had a complaint about anything 👍
